Unfortunately yes, but I got it for free more or less...(bundle with the others yesterday)
The employee did say though that if they get the case, manual and cover in, that I could request those, and get a reasonable chance of receiving them since I already bought the game from them.

But I do agree...that kinda sucks....:(

Japanese Super Famicom version of Final Fantasy VI with Box, cartridge, manual, and some "green slip" the seller was proud to have with the product lol.

Pure shadow box material as this is one of my favorite games of all time.

Truth be told I dont play any of the dating sims or story book games I got past the first 5-10 minutes. Definitly play the stuff that doesnt require any language support like shooters, fighters, and action games. Strat and RPGs though are sadly not getting enough attention.

Shenmue - $2 at Goodwill. I already own the game, kind of, but my old copy is missing a disk so I pirated it. Now the collector in me is satisfied, as I own an original copy of the complete game. :p
Snow Patrol: Eyes Open - $1 at a yard sale. My ex-fiancee loved 'Chasing Cars'. My project for the summer is to get to a point where I can listen to it without crying like a little girl... v.v
Batman: Rise of Sin Tzu - $2 at Goodwill. Eh, it looked interesting.
Air Force One - $2 at Goodwill.
'Create Your Own 3D Games' - $2 at Goodwill. I'm really not sure what this is or how well it will work, but $2 for a cheap-looking software package isn't so bad, and I SUCK at programming... v.v
Starship Titanic - $2 at Goodwill. OMGWTFBBQ I've wanted to play this game forever.
Road Trip - $2 at Goodwill. This movie worries me, I'm usually not into crude humor but I've heard good things about it, so I will give it a try.
Snatch - $2 at a yard sale. Probably the best gangster movie I've ever seen. Very ridiculous and funny, and I've wanted to buy a copy for years.

Farscape comic - $9 at my local comic shop. I don't usually post my comics because I get faaar too many, but I thought this one was pretty cool. It's a limited run of 500. I have a copy of the normal edition too because I am a dork.
Dawn: The Worlds of Final Fantasy - $27 at my local comic shop. I've had this bloody thing on order since December and it finally came in. I actually haven't paid for it yet because I was broke last week, but the manager's my best friend. :p
GrimGrimoire - I've been meaning to buy this for a while, and I found it for $18 used (though it's in perfect shape :D) at my local GameStop. Don't judge me. :p
Good Faeries/Bad Faeries - My mom and I went to visit my aunt, and she was going to have a yard sale, so she let us poke through the stuff and take what we wanted. I also got the CDs from there: Alicia Keys - Songs in A Minor; Vienna Teng - Warm Strangers; Blink 182 - Enema of the State; Israel Kamakawiwo'ole - Alone in IZ World; Norah Jones - Come Away With Me; The Very Best of Sheryl Crow; Herdman, Hills, and Mangsen - Voices... and I'm really not sure what that last one is. It's not the Bouncing Souls like I thought, it's something else. Oh well. :P

^Yeah, I actually found a few decent things for a decent price at one of the Traders in Akihabara, and a few more things I had missed at that Mandarake in Nakano.

Also, that Super Potato in Akihabara was nuts and not nearly as overpriced as I had heard.

On a side note, stay away from the tomato and lemon Asahi drink. Gross. Thought it might taste like a Chilada - Nope, it was gross.

Sickle - Do you like Cross Edge? I think I am going to buy it in a couple weeks. I don't like the pause before battles, I know it's nit picking, but for some reason it bothers me.

The benefits of custom firmware are many and varied. The big ones for me are the ability to emulate older systems (I currently have SNES, Genesis, and Game Boy Advance emulated) and rip my PSX games to the system and play them on it... though the way it handles the analog stick is annoying.

I'm sure there's more, but I have not explored it beyond that. I have no interest in piracy, so one of the big draws for some people is moot.
