Seriously, during this past weekend when I didn't have a damn thing to do, thanks to whoever caused atlus.com to go down, I was admiring the packaging --For Devil Summoner: RK vs KA -- and more specifically the Raiho plushie.
It occurred to me that it'd be sweet that for future SMT-related releases that Atlus does a few more characters from the franchise. Such as Pyro Jack, Jack Frost, and Black Frost. Personally I think it would be pretty sweet to have all 4 on my shelf next to each other.
So for example, whatever the next console SMT game is, they could bundle one of the those guys, and the others when a different game comes out. Think about it atlus.
I'm a big collector (not so much video games related tbh) as well as a gamer, having them would be awesome. It'd be a nice change from getting either a soundtrack or artbook all the time (although I love artbooks, soundtracks are ok... but I can always play a game and hear it there)
Anyone else think this would be a good idea?

I'm with you. There are actually plenty of SMT swags I want to get my hands on: Persona 3 tarot cards, Jack Frost mugs, Kotobukiya One Coin gashapon series etc. Plushies are also among my favorites to collect, and while Atlus NA can't quite make games, I'm hoping they can take the initiative to either produce or bring over some of the goods from Japan.

Persona Tarot cards would be pretty damn sweet. I don't know why I never thought of that before. Yeah if they were worried about cost on the more expensive "spoils" I probably wouldn't have any problem paying more, but then again you can't really call it a "spoil"....maybe collectors edition?
Although I don't know the business logistics involved, so I could be way off base, I tend to think that these sorts of things might make more sense as standalone merchandise, rather than as pre-order bonuses.

I wonder if they could do a Persona themed playing card deck with all the past stuff thown in for such? If so I'd go so far as to ask for plastic cards instead of paper if possible so I could actually use it instead of leaving it sit on the shelf. :D

An Atlus store would do me worlds of good. Having to import stuff is fine except there are no U.S. advertisements for the products, which leads to finding out about them by happenstance, or going on a merchandise hunt everytime there is a new anime or video game you like. This often leaves me in the dust, as the availability of popular items decreases rapidly.

Well frankly I'm cool with the labels and the packaging. It is nice to get freebies ever so often, but even these are costs to the company. As long as Atlus NA charges a reasonable price for their goods and maintain decent standards in production, I have no objections to paying for them. ;)

On the subject of plushies; I would love to see more of them from Atlus. Even just to buy...
Right now I have 6 from harvest moon, 4 from Disgaea and working on getting a 5th, 1 from Ninja Town and 1 from Phoenix Wright.
You can never have too much soft fluffy goodness :3
It takes a real man to admit he has more stuffed animals then his little sister.

I'd be up for some Atlus anything. SquareEnix has an overpriced merch store I think Atlus needs one too. I have some Megaten One Coin figures and the Shin Megami Tensei Khan mangas that came out here and that's it. I'd kill for some sweet Atlus swag. I know we get the soundtracks and stuff with the games usually but I think we could get some more stuff in the US. That'd be f-ing awesome...

Personally, I'd love to see a plushie of Mochi from Contact. :3

Yeah, there used to be an atlus store, but I never went to it before so I wouldn't know what they had on it other than games?
Since they use amazon for their store front now, they should see about getting something going on there. I've been to Atlus japan's store and have seen some awesome stuff on there.
SE does overcharge, I think I saw a necklace or something that was like 75 dollars, it wasn't special metal (ex. gold) or anything either. I know you supposedly got some kind of in-game item with it too, which was apparently rare.
