It's official, Marvel Vs Capcom 2 will indeed be coming out to XBLA And PSN this Summer.

I may pick this up for the PS3. Had a lot of fun with the arcade version, but I was always too poor, so I generally got my ass kicked.

PSN demo out thursday, featuring Ryu, Strider, Chun-li, Spiderman, Ironman, and Wolverine. With online play. Well that's what I heard anyways, also they said it'll be $15 when it's out (I'm assuming that's American). Hopefully it's true. I prefer Capcom vs Snk 2 over this though, but I doubt that's going to come out.

I have a feeling i'm going to enjoy the demo more than the full game itself.

The main reason I never played MVC2 alot was the balance issues. 90% of the cast is unplayable at mid to high level play. Heck, even if you don't know what your doing in the game (like my friends and I) theres still a huge disadvantage between characters.

I'm still going to pick this up though. The fact that its a true port (unlike the garbage PS2 and XB ports) makes a huge difference. That, online play, systems that can take full advantage of the backround graphics and not having to unlock EVERYTHING helps alot too.

All characters unlocked from the start?! MUST BUY!!! I got bored playing the single-player constantly to get points. Friends don't go to my place much to play you see.

Also, I like how it's a port yet there are some improvements, such as online play or being able to choose the song during fights.

I just realized how much better this game is going to be with custom soundtracks (I never could make a Dreamcast version with my own music). :)

Is Cable spam dead? It's just that I keep on seeing Magneto/Storm/Psylocke, instead of the usual "any three of these four" teams: Cable/Sentinel/Magneto/Storm.

Nope, I still see those 4 a vast majority of the time. Occasionally you'll see Rogue/Strider/Trone/Dr. Doom.

It's gonna get worse: the PSN/XBLA version is the exact arcade-perfect Dreamcast port; yes, all the Lindberger cheese and bugs will stay. >_>

Gamestop is going to be getting and started preorders on exclusive Marvel VS Capcom 2 Tournament Edition Sticks for PS3 and 360. They're gonna be $159.99, they'll be out mid October.

You could do that on the Dreamcast version, too. That's the build that the remake's based on.

Sorry to ask this. But I have a hard time finding a PS Network Card so I can download the game and I saw that a couple of persons posted pictures of a PS3 Marvel vs. Capcom 2 "coupon" thing on the Monthly Spoils Thread. So my question is; Can I buy that coupon on Amazon? or it's exclusive from other store? 'cause I can only find the 360 version. :S

Any help on this matter will be appreciate it. :D
