Hey...I've got kind of a problem...

I have a semi unique opportunity...

there are 2 of the Mega-ten games, that I want to get...
But I can only get one of them, and I don't know that either will be available afterward...

The first one is the original Megami Tensei in box, for the Famicom.
The second one is Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha VS King Abadon, with Raiho Plushie (I Hope)

I'm leaning toward Devil Summoner 2, since its in English, possibly has the Raiho plushie, its on a console that I actually own, the really cool box art and such with it, and that I'd be giving Atlus some profit.

But, Megami Tensei, is the original Mega-ten game, its a collectors item, it would have semi-unique artwork in it, it seems to be a work of art itself, and there are possibly only 1,000 left in box, maybe less...I'm not sure...

Does anyone have any advice?

I would go towards the second choice.
Both are interesting, but since I don't have a famicom, I would buy Devil Summoner.
It really depends on you, buy the one you like most.

Think about which of the two will get more expensive after some more time. For example, like what happen with the Social Expansion Pack, the product was super expensive after a couple of weeks of the release date, which make (for me) impossible the acquisition of this pack.

What you need to do is look which game you will be able to buy later (talking in monetary ways and the existence of both items), which of the two games will be a little bit easy to buy if you purchase the other one, and that is the game you will have to "sacrifice" for the other (for now, if you plan to get both of them in the future).

Thank you for the responses, I decided to pre-order Devil Summoner 2.

I hope I get it, and the Raiho Plushie :)
