It's not hardcover, but WOW is it sexy. I've got one on my desk right now and our design department (and the game artists, obviously) totally outdid themselves on this one. I'm sure Onion agrees. Take that for what you will, I mean, we work here, but I'd be super sad if I was even half interested in this game and missed the chance to have this because I didn't preorder.

It's not hardcover.

Actually, they did do a sweet hardcover for P3s first release (not the FES version). I think you can still pick that one up at some stores. Here's a pic of it at GS site, can't get it online there though.

Actually they HAVE given out HArdcover Artbooks... For Example the Persona 3 Artbook is hardcover =P...Sorry if it was mentioned before...

Looks really good! I was wondering about the size of the Artbook? Is it like LA2/P4, smaller like EP or even smaller so it actually fits in the DS box package like the OST?

Also are every copy coming with this (like the pack-in OST's), or is it early copies limited (like the LA2/P4/EP artbooks)?

Yup. The game will come in a slightly larger box containing both the DS game and the soundtrack CD, like Luminous Arc 2 and SRTOGSEF did. If you pick up just the game case at the store, demand your soundtrack!

Excellent, excellent artbook! Could have been a little longer and included full body images of the knights in each order with their descriptions (and maybe a little artist commentary for each) by putting only two or three on a page instead of five or six with only headshots... but I guess that might have been asking a little much given the number of knights and their detailed backgrounds. Other than that it was virtually flawless and chalk-full of pictorial greatness-- definitely one of the best artbooks I've seen in North America. The commentary and concept drafts for the bosses and MCs are wonderfully put together and really add a lot to what is already an extremely deep game! Kudos Atlus! :D

Here's how it works. Our distrubitors send games and pre-order goodies to GameStop's central shipping facilities. From there, it's up to GameStop to make sure that it gets to the individual stores. There is nothing Atlus can do about it.

Actually, Gamestop only shipped one copy to your Gamestop. For all of your inquiring minds, this is how it works.

Atlus ships out as many artbooks as there are preorders to Gamestop's distribution center. It's not like we have the addresses and preorder numbers of each individual Gamestop store. I don't think Gamestop would WANT us or any publisher to have that kind of information.

Gamestop's distribution center is responsible for getting the artbooks to the appropriate stores, and when they fail to do that, they are who you should take your issues up with.

I've noticed fewer problems with Amazon preorder bonuses being reported on our forums.

There is a such thing as shipping delays and problems. Contact the Gamestop you ordered from. if that doesn't work, send a complaint to theit corporate office, they may find one and send it to that Gamestop for you.

Did any of your copys of tome of lost souls had those stickers that are use to hold atlus DS game ds shut on upper part of the art book. Well i had and now there is very ugly mark on it. The box itself had only sticker on the back part so some douche might have took the sticker on the frontside and slashed it on the artbook.

Keep an eye on eBay; it won't be long before people put artbooks up for auction/sale. I got the persona 4 and eternal poison artbooks that way because I missed the boat on preordering. Hooray for eBay! :D

I managed to get the artbook without a pre order, I just happened to log on to Play Asia the day this game came out... I hadn't even heard about it! I'm so glad I did, it's easily one of my favorite games.

I can honestly say it's the best artbook I've ever seen. As well as being full of delicious art it actually makes the game more fun by listing all of the character relationships for transoul. Atlus have truly outdone themselves this time, they're fast becoming my favorite games developer.

I got lucky! I didn't pre-order, but months after the fact, a Gamestop guy I know loaded me up with a bunch of old pre-order items (for stuff that had already come out, and was clogging their drawers.)

Included was the Tome of Lost Souls!

A bonus hint from the book: If you have the GBA version of Yggdra Union, put it in the GBA slot, and it will change Knights in the Nightmare a bit. Princess Yggdra will appear instead of Maria in the tutorial, and Pamela will randomly appear between missions.
