I play a lot of games at Armor Games (www.armorgames.com) and a few of them I would LOVE to play on my DS, maybe in a collection like 101 in 1 Megamix. Games like Knightfall, Momentum Missle Mayhem, Indestructank and others would make an absolutely AWESOME minigame collection! Anyone else dig this idea? I didn't want to post in Game Suggestions as there's no one game I'm suggesting.
There are even little Flash RPGs that are a blast. Some of the games are crap, but some have actual production values, and there's a great variety (action, RPG, puzzle, strategy). There's even a game called Battalion Wars for you Advance Wars fans out there, and it looks great! If there is anyway to get some of the better games in a collection, I would buy it, day minus-one!

I voted it 5 stars, but only to spite jeffx.
But no, it'll never happen.

Why would anyone pay for a Flash game?

^Not to mention, you can host Flash games on almost any website now-a-days for free.

They're free, yeah, but paying 20 bucks for 101 in 1 is basically the same thing. ANY mingame compilation is the same thing. I don't care that they're Flash, but some of these games are great and I want to be able to play them on a portable system, rather than sitting at a computer. The portable format is ideal for these quick-play games, since you can flip it on, play it for 15 minutes, then turn it off when the light turns green.
Knightfall is a freaking addictive puzzle RPG, but I hate having to sit at my computer to play it.
I just wondered with a lot more small time games being developed as DLC on the consoles, could the same be done for games that are created on sites like this?
Hell, the DS has download capabilities, give me a DS card that has X amount of storage space and code the games so that they can be saved to that card! I can pay a few bucks to download the game, then I can keep it on that card, or delete it when I'm done to free up space for a few more games. The games are already on the internet, so I can play them first and see if I dig them or not. That sounds possible, and not at all like a bad idea! You wouldn't even need a specific site! All the "Flash-type" game sites out there can offer links that allow you to grab games you really enjoyed.
I'm telling you, there's a market for it, especially in today's gaming world.

People pay for them all the time on Xbox Live. If any are actually worth it...well, that is another story.

It might be cool to see Atlus host some kind of Flash MMO (yeah, there's that steampunk game, but 'big' projects like that don't have the charm of a Flash game), but I don't see them putting games on the DS.
Anyway, there are plenty of games out there that are close to the "flash" experience. Teenage Zombies, Warioware...hell, Dark Spire is pretty close to a java based game that I've been playing for almost ten years now - Dragon Court (http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&ct=res&cd=1&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwild.ffiends.com%2F&ei=3UPwSeW8J5y0tgPh2dzgCg&rct=j&q=Dragon+Court&usg=AFQjCNEUfM8G2nGL8X1GSIy0KjlZXrnNkQ).
Although, Dragon Court is more awesome than Dark Spire could ever have been. :D

I would like to point out that "Defend Your Castle" a flash game came out for WiiWare and "Desktop Tower Defense" is coming out soon.
Not to mention N+ which is out for I don't know how many systems.
Also there is rumor that "Meat Boy" may be coming to WiiWare.
So there is a chance for flash games on systems... just not a very good one ^_^

Henbayward, you're probably barking up the wrong tree so to speak to ask Atlus to compile flash games. For us to publish a console game, the game should ideally already exist.
You'd have better luck talking to the actual companies that possess the flash games you enjoy and asking them to port them over to Wiiware/XBLA or maybe better still, DSIware, for the less resource heavy titles.
THEN you can ask us. :)

Thanks! I might actually do that. The fact that these things actually DO com out on the XBLA and all that just validates the idea. As cool as they are on KBLA, though, most of them are BEGGING to be portable-ized.
