Got both of them for 15 bucks at GameStop. I gotta say, I don't know why I didn't pick them up sooner! I'm a lover of traditional JRPGs and SRPGs and as different as these are, I wasn't sure I would like them. I grew up in the 16-bit era and so when I look for games, I look for ones that pretty much stay within the realm of the familiar, like Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy and the like.
I gave them a chance and I'm really glad for the breaths of fresh air. If you've never tried them, give them a shot. They're not what you'd expect, but that's part of what's cool about them.

Yeah I really enjoyed both titles on the GBA, so much in fact, that I grabbed them again for the PSP. I cannot wait for Knights in the Nightmare.

That's one of the reasons I finally decided to pick them up: the bonuses you get in Kights in the Nightmare! Man, Yggdra Union gets pretty difficult though. Still, it's a nice change of pace from typical SRPGs.

You get bonuses in Knights in the Nightmare if you have Riviera and Yggra Union?

Riviera's an awesome game. One of the better GBA games I've played.

Both are fantastic games. Though I found Riviera to have the best plot line of the two.
I only wish they would make a sequel.
