We're going to do this next bit rather cheesily, as though it's an auction. Why? Because one of the big innovations Devil Survivor brings to the SMT series is the Demon Auction, where players will engage in nail-biting bids to win new demons to use in battle. Here goes...

I love the fact that the art style is going to remain consistent on the DS. Offering an SMT SRPG is also a wonderful way of rewarding fans who love Atlus SRPG's as well as SMT.

I know I'm getting this game, but haven't bothered placing a pre-order. I suppose it depends on how good the spoils is, but if its gonna be *another* soundtrack, I'll just pass on it and just pick it up when its released.

I much prefer artbooks to soundtracks these days, since I can just turn on the game and listen to the soundtrack if I wanted too that badly.

But I gotta say, the trailers look pretty good!

ARE there going to be spoils for this game? When will they be announced? I know I pre-ordered Persona 4 from Amazon since I was also getting the Social Link package, and then you guys ran a spoils campaign with Gamestop so I had to drop one pre-order just to pre-order with Gamestop to get my Art Book. The sooner we know the sooner we can prepare, and as soon as I know where the merchandise is gonna be I can pre-order. Please let us know....I've had Devil Survivor waiting in my Amazon shopping cart since it was announced~I just wanna make sure I pre-order from the proper place to get all my spoils...

I am beginning to wonder if I am the only person here who would be completely content with Devil Survivor having no spoils.

I mean, free stuff is cool, but it's not like they're obligated to give it to us every time, guys. Or even any time.

At the end of the day, all I care about is the game.

I mean, getting a soundtrack, artbook, etc., is cool and all... but it really does seem like some Faithful put waaaaay too much emphasis in the free stuff, to the point where it almost looks like they don't care about the game.

Like Raidou 2. I'm excited about the game 'cuz I've played it and it was pure awesome and win. I also was afraid we'd never get it, so when the news came out, I was ecstatic. Yet, all I ever see anyone talk about is the Raiho plushie...

Eh, oh well, as long as I get the game on May 12, I'll be happy.

DS excites me, too, and I'm still curious about whether it's a side story to the original SMT, what with the Tokyo Cordon and impending doom.

I just want to know if there are gonna BE spoils. I'm a collector, so if it's out there, and it's Megaten related, I want it, period.

I ordered Devil Summoner 2 because of the game. I didn't care for Devil Summoner 1, and this one, while improved, will probably fail again to hold my attention. With or without spoils, it probably never would have left its case. Now that it's a neatly boxed Devil Summoner 2 shrine with Raiho on display, all in a dust free custom box, it will surely never escape. I want it just 'cause it's Megaten. Just to have it on my shelf...and that is OK. =P

I assume he means the main Shin Megami Tensei storyline. (Starting with Shin Megami Tensei 1.)

This game doesn't have any direct relation to any of those games though.

I like the opening song but some of the others I just don't care for. The the battle music annoys me terribly. I want to like it but I wish it would change like in nocturne at least you had some variety.
