Does anyone here browse Wikipedia? Every once in a while, I swing by to check out the ever-growing list of "Atlus Games (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Atlus_games)" and I've noticed that a lot of them are either missing, or have pretty weak looking articles.
People gotta know about Atlus! I know they can't write the articles themselves, but there's no reason a bunch of fans like the people around here couldn't help out. I've edited some of the articles, but it'd be cool if I could recruit some help. *hint*

Personally for Atlus information, at least for their main games like SMT, Persona, etc. I just read/surf through the Megemi Tensei Wiki website (http://megamitensei.wikia.com/wiki/Megami_Tensei_Wiki).
If I weren't so busy playing awesome games, I'd help you. :P

I'm no good at the whole editing of Wikipedia, but I know that myself and quite a few other people on these boards know a lot about Atlus titles (even the older ones). If you have any questions about them, just feel free to ask, but I doubt a lot of people here are too interested in editing Wikipedia by themselves.

I have to agree with you Delition, they made Wikipedia syntax and all that jazz a bit too complex, at least more complex then it had to be. I could barely edit the Persona 4 wiki last year, updating it's fusion recipes.

I have an IT job and enjoy reading up on new games but like most corporate situations they have a content filter on the web. Luckily, Wikipedia has a lot of game information and is not on the blocked list so I surf it a lot at work.

I don't.
Could you imagine glittery GIF crap all over Atlus page, as well as My little pony and pimp logos.

My advice is to not rely on Wikipedia for such things.

It is often the case in academia that Wikipedia is prohibited as formal citation. I have never been allowed to use Wikipedia as a source for any formal paper I have written, technical or otherwise.

Yeah, I'd be kind of disturbed if colleges were letting you do that.
But, having Wikipedia pages for Atlus stuff couldn't hurt. I think it's a good thing.

That's why I use Wikipedia as a place to find articles. Browsing to the citations section usually bids well.

StrategyWiki could always use some help, but I may be a little biased. If you want some help with a page over there, just drop a note on my talk page: http://strategywiki.org/wiki/User_talk:Vizeroth

It can be, but more often than not, people tend to over rely on it.

I remember reading a wikipedia page for Sonny Bono and even though the article was really good, at the very end it said, "Dude like to smoke pot".

The point is to work together and get rid of that when you see it. Wikipedia isn't magically gonna come together with no work.

yeah I check Wikipedia every now and then to see info on games or history. Also I noticed Pibbman changed his/her avatar I was so used to the Naoto pic.

Once I was reading a wikipedia article about bees and at the end there were two paragraphs (with terrible spelling and grammar) about purple killer bees that sent their victims of their stings to horrid deaths and it continued on into overblown nonsense. I removed this.
