Writing - My epic science-fiction epic will be finished one of these days. Yes, I used epic twice. It's just that epic.
Reading - I have far too many books, most of which I have read. My favorite series is A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin.
Creation of art - I really can't lump this into one category. I draw, I do 3D animation and modeling, some 2D animation as well, sometimes painting when I have the time and inspiration...
Collecting ElfQuest - I'm a pretty big EQ fan. I have about three boxes of EQ comics and graphic novels, plus other random items like the music CD and some action figures. My goal is to eventually have a copy of every EQ item that has been released.
Creating video games - All I've come out with so far have been some little classic-style games, but I've got ideas bumping around in my head that I plan on using some day.
Magic: the Gathering - I play every week at the local comic store.

- I'm a big fan of cinema. (Woody Allen, the Coen bros and Terry Gilliam are probably my favorite directors)
- I read comics, mostly european, though occasionaly some american and japanese titles as well.
- Visual arts (Mainly drawing, painting, animation (2D/3D), photography and digital art) though I've been procrastinating lately.
- I like cycling, but I need to get my bike repaired and it's still stored for winter.
- I hang out in pubs with my friends and drink beer. In fact I used to do this at least three times a week at some point, but not so much anymore.
- Occasionaly reading a good book when I have one.
- I play D&D 3rd Ed. about once every two weeks with some friends.
- I like listening to new interesting music.
- I also procrastinate a lot.
- I work on my online comic Writer's block is a pain!
- Attempt to scale the steep learning curve of Adobe software.
- I read comics.
- Collecting artbooks and visiting gallleries.
- Playing the piano.
- Attempting to follow Doctor Who and all his spin-offs.

-Guitar: I spend at least 2-3 hours a day practicing. No matter how busy I am, it is always something I can find time for.
-Music: Kinda fits in with guitar, but different. I am constantly scouring the internet for new bands I haven't listened to before. I listen to everything from classical to rap to heavy metal, and from the moment I wake up to when I go to sleep, I have music playing in my room.
-Cinema: Ever since my dad showed me Goodfellas when I was in 2nd grade (a little younger than I probably should have), I became obsessed with movies. Thanks to Netflix and my school library's DVD and VHS collection, I watch about 2 new movies a day.
-Writing: Also because of my dad, I stumbled upon his massive book collection in fifth grade and read a vampire book called Necroscope that blew me away. Ever since then, I've written. In High School I was published three times for poetry entries, but was only ever proud of one of them as the two others were published in #### publications. I haven't submitted anything since High School until right before New Years recently. I got a call about a month ago now letting me know the two poems I submitted are being published.
-Books: I love to read, but this hobby of mine doesn't get as much attention as it should. I blow hundreds of dollars on old books at garage sales and small, local bookstores, but I've built up quite a backlog, as I can't read as fast as I buy. My favorite Disney movie is actually Beauty and the Beast, and I decided as a kid I want a library as large as the one that the Beast has....because it was awesome. The oldest book I have was published in the late 1700s that I picked up at a garage sale a few years ago. It is hard to find an exact date since book copyrights weren't around then.
-Boxing, Muay Thai, Jeet Kune Do: My first day of college I went to box because I always wanted to, but never had the place to go. At my rec. center, I found a guy who taught boxing and muay thai, but altered and meshed slightly together. We became friends, and I've been sparring with him for 3 years now. Recently, his friend came here from New York, and he has been showing me Jeet Kune Do. All of this I do for fun and to blow off steam a bit. I don't know why I do it with these things, since I'm just a lil' guy, plus I'd never hurt a fly.
-Lying: I love making #### up online.

Oh man, Heroscape... I have three master sets (original, elite viper Wal-Mart release, and the swampy one that came out later, the first seven or so waves of figures (doubles of all non-uniques), all five TRU exclusive flagbearers, the first three Gen-Con exclusive figs, doubles of the bridge & trees, ice, lava, and castle terrain packs... oh, and the Marvel starter set.
Now, nobody in town sells the stuff and my main Heroscape buddy has been stuck at home nursing some chick he knocked up so I haven't played lately.
I forgot about these two. I used to take apart stuff and try to put it back together to see if it would still work. Usually with success. lol at all my murdered tamagotchis. And the instrument thing. I never make enough time for it, really.
The instruments, I just have too many hobbies and end up ditching one temporarily to pursue another. Unfortunately, that results in me having to re-learn from scratch most of the time. I think more space would help.
Electronics tie in with some of my other interests. Like programming, pinball machines, and video games. If you have programming skills and an interest in electronics, Andre Lamothe has some awesome do-it-yourself video game consoles with books on how to design, build, and program one.

Yes. I used to save pocket money, buy them, play them for a while, then tear them apart to see what made them tick. I loved the touch one (Tamagotchi Angel I think) because it's games were so hard that I wanted to pull it apart right away to see how it worked. Too bad used ones are worth more then $100 on ebay now, it seems.
Also, dungeonman, thanks for the links. My problem is I don't know a lot about programming, but I could still be self-taught I hope.
EDIT: I also used to read a lot of encyclopedic books on things like plants, cetaceans and birds a LOT. To the point where I remembered it all and it was kind of creepy.

*I have an obscenely large manga collection which I really need to take a picture of and write down all my series just to see how much I have. It's gotten so big I'm starting on a second bookshelf. So far my favorites are Pet Shop of Horrors, Pretty Face, Genju no Seiza, and Hyper Police.
*I have odd collections which mainly consist of Alice In Wonderland stuff and Anubis. I'm also rather fond of Dunnys, but I only have 14 of them.
*I enjoy writing but I'm really not very good, so I just keep them to myself. It just feels better to get my ideas on paper rather then keep them locked up in my head. I only hope I can turn some of them into someday.
*Since I'm in the game design program I'm trying to learn how to draw better so I can accurately portray what I want a character to look like.
* I enjoy listening to music, particularly the oldies. The most "recent" bands I like are Harvey Danger and Bowling for Soup.
*Watching cartoons (I don't mean anime). I can't help it, I love cartoons from the early nineties and back. I'm honestly thinking about getting a tattoo of a snickering Muttley on my arm.
* If I'm able to on Mondays (college and homework take up sooooo much time) I try to get to my ceramic class and work on piece. I'm told I'm actually quite good, but that's hard for me to believe due to my low self-esteem. This is one of my favorite pieces that I did:

Okay, here we go:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v239/RedNinja/telec3.jpg
Tele only. (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v239/RedNinja/telec2.jpg)
I also snapped a pick of the other guitar I use frequently, but it's a little weird. All I know about it is that it's a mid-70's hollow body, made in Japan. It's a real piece of junk, and I don't know what company made it since the name has been scratched of the headstock...but for some reason, it has this really great tone that I've never heard in another guitar, so it was well worth the $100 I spent. Only problem is, the pickups are junk, and it would cost me another $100+ to replace them.
Here's the pic.

Anyways,

-thinking (as long as I am not hurting myself in the process)
I can't really think of anything because I am pretty sure I used to be a lot more fun. Working a combined hourly load of 60+ weekly at two jobs on top of having a girlfriend doesn't really give you lot of time to do anything when you already enjoy gaming. I used to be part of DnD group, but I told them I could only be a guest character every once in awhile because I cannot make the commitment.

Like many others here, I enjoy watching anime and reading manga. Aside from that, I spend my time writing and creating stories... though mostly for my own amusement. And I'm learning Japanese... in the interest of practice, I've developed a hobby of translating books (not very advanced books, granted). Sometimes Japanese -> English, other times English -> Japanese, which is the harder test.

I don't really do anything nowadays, but I used to love writing and drawing. I once made a blatant Mega Man ripoff named Eagle Man back in elementary school and made three terribly made 36-48 page comic books about it (I still have 2).
I also used to write fan fiction back in middle / high school. My favorite one that I wrote was a 20+ page fan-fiction trying to tie in Ark Thompson to the Raccoon City outbreak. I'm actually still pissed that my hard drive crashed and i lost it.
Nowadays, I'm trying my hand at basic cooking and lately I've been exercising and trying to eat healthier. I've been using Wii Fit somewhat, though, so that may be cheating in this thread.
I've also been trying my hand at making a cartoon movie on my computer, as well as trying to make a few webcomic pages for a personal project.
I can't think of anything else at this moment, but I know I do more than this.
P.S.: BOWLING! #### YEAH!

Reading: God, I love it so much. I've been obsessed with reading ever since Elementary School; however, I usually read informative texts like...well, no storytelling happens in most of what I read, basically--give me a book on diseases, human anatomy, DNA, secret societies, religion, language, Mythology, animals, weather, Forensics, Psychology, Philosophy, etc., and I will be happy.
I just love to learn because it's so intriguing to discover new things, you know? Also, reading helps out my vocabulary tremendously and it's what helped me learn English (well, it was from reading video games, to be frank). Also, every time I see/hear a new word anywhere I write it down (if I am able) and look it up later: I've got around ten one-sided pages of words I need to look up on dictionary.com and write them down on index cards with the part of speech, etc.
Fun stuff, really.
I do read some genre books on occasion, though.
Oh, and I tend to buy books faster than I can read them but that's just my way of securing a copy for the future :D
Writing: Writing is definitely my favorite hobby besides video games, to be honest--it's such an amazing way to express the self and one way to satiate creativity's nigh-endless hunger.
With my method it's a slow and time-consuming hobby when I get down to it. Usually--for my current big project--I have long periods of time where I write nothing down (sometimes months) but I'm always thinking about it and, when the cerebral juices flow, it's so exhilarating.
My forte is definitely the macabre side of writing: disturbed minds make for some disturbed writing ;) I'm a fan of trying to penetrate the psyche of any potential readers even if it's just a tiny bit so I mix different themes to draw out emotion.
I can write heartwarming stories, too...but psychologically morbid stories are definitely my favorite to write :D
My old English Literature teacher read my final project to his Freshmen--he came up to me and told me himself. He also said they loved it, so that was a very nice feeling, being praised like that. It was a pretty twisted story, too! I couldn't believe he had actually read it....the formatting was awful, too, 'cause I was in a rush to finish it before the deadline D: Needless to say, I went back and fixed it up and made it even better! :D Too bad he never saw the enhanced version =(

Dude, are you sure? It's 16 pages long (double-spaced).
If you're still up for it, PM me your e-mail so I can send it to you.

Wow, I've got to say I never would have guessed. Your mastery of English is far better than most native speakers! If you don't mind my asking, what's your native language?

^Wait! English is not his native language? O_o Wow, I already read his story and I thought his native language was English because it's really well done.

Unfortunately, my Spanish has suffered since I put so much time into perfecting my English--or, rather, it didn't advance past the basics. It depresses me that it's rather elementary but it gets me by...
I did just buy myself a really good Spanish-English/vice versa dictionary (and one entirely in Spanish) and I plan to drill quite a lot of the words into the ol' noggin over time. I've also begun to watch novelas (soap operas) with my mom to better understand conversational stuff...D: Reading definitely gives me the most trouble, though--I'm really slow.

Well, respect +1. I'm incredibly impressed and that's actually not that easy to do. :)
