What would your Persona be?
Mine would definitely be Sukuna-Hikona.
Emilio Morales

In my opinion, that would depend on the Arcana you belong to, so it would be more like "The Persona chooses you, instead of you choose your Persona".
But if I could choose one, I would say... Hyperion or Apollo! :D

^It depends on your zodiac sign as far as I know. But if I'm not wrong the arcana changes every year for each zodiac sign.

I've never heard anything about your arcana corresponding to your zodiac sign....
The major arcana all have very specific things they represent, so I think really the best way to figure out what "yours" is would be to just read up on them and pick what feels fitting. (Though in an actual tarot reading, you're usually just going to be using the Magician or the High Priestess as your significator anyway -- at least, that's how I learned to do it with the spread I typically use.)
I'd probably classify myself as Temperance. Other people have pegged me as Sun in the past, though. I kind of like the idea of having Seiryu (P4 version...he's World in P2 and I don't even remember what he is in P3).

I think I'd match The Hermit Arcana the best.
If I had to choose a Hermit Persona, I'd have to choose Nebiros or Ongyo-ki.

If I could have a Persona in real life, I would rather have one that isn't in the game. Seeing as how my soul card is Strength/Justice, I think I would rather have one of the old Celtic gods like Rudianos or any of the other gods of war.

Really? I've never heard of it...
Hmm... My arcana, at first, it's Priestess, but then... it's Death...
I wonder...
Well, maybe some original Persona will be cool, but if it's the one in the game... I wanted... Yamato Takeru?
Personally, I think it's pretty cool!

Well, you guys aren't taking into account that persona emerge from the vast expanse of human consciousness, mean that any one person has a nearly unlimited amount of persona at their access. Meaning - you can pick favorites, but in the world of persona, you'd basically have them all.
But being a little less LOL SERIOUS BUSINESS, I've always felt oddly drawn to the Mothman demon/persona. I have no idea why, and even though I wouldn't call him my favorite...that's my only guess towards what I'd have as a persona.

I figured out that I'm Tower/Chariot.
Here is how to figure out your arcana if you're interested.
To determine your birth arcana, use the simple formula (month of birth) + (day of birth) + (first two digits of birth year) + (last two digits of birth year), then take the two digits and add them together. If you end up with a three-digit number, then add the first two digits to the third.
For example, using my own birthdate, November 1st, 1988:
Birth Month = 11
Birth Day = 1
First two digits of birth year = 19
Last two digits of birth year = 88
11 + 1 + 19 + 88 = 119, 11 + 9 = 20
Take the result and match it with the appropriate Arcana number. In my case, Arcana XX is Judgment. Then, take the two digits and add them together for the second card in the pair.
2 + 0 = 2
As a result, my Arcana pairing is Judgment (XX) and the High Priestess (II).
Also note that if you end up with 19 initially, your Arcana will be a triple set: The Sun, the Wheel of Fortune, and the Magician (19, 10, and 1).
In case you hadn't noticed, that makes the MC unique since his Arcana is the Fool, which is technically impossible.
Or you can just use this calculator.

Just so I won't be edited for going off topic, I would probably go with Black Frost, he's a goddamn tank.
Hmm... In a personality test, I'm Death or High Priestess but, if I use the calculator, I ended up in The World and The Empress... If I must pick according to my arcana... I guess Izanagi-no-Okami and maybe... Phenthesilea? But according to free will, I really wanted Yamato-Takeru...

Ok...
I had done this research before as my love of the games led me to want to know my arcana. I found a site ( http://www.suite101.com/article.cfm/tarot/96440 )that defined the arcana and gave corresponding zodiac signs. Most signs corresponded with two different arcana.
My sign is Leo, therefore I am influenced by the Strength and Sun arcanas.
Your calculator shows my arcanas to be Death and Emporer...based on my birthday.
So now, my question is: Which set of Arcana are we defined by? Those of our corresponding birth year, or those that correspond with our Sign?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Birth Card Notes:
Death / Emperor
Imagery — Things to Look at and Contemplate:
Postures — riding / sitting
(Changing vs. maintaining, future vs. present)
Colors — black and white / red and orange
(Stark and minimal vs. passionate and full-blown)
Clothing — armor only / armor, robe and crown
(Personal, intimate and absolute vs. formal, ceremonial and imperious)
Symbols —
horse / throne
(things as they will be vs. things as they are)
banner / orb and scepter
(different symbols of the same higher authority in whose name both perform their respective functions)
Landscapes — complex / simple
(detailed reality vs. abstract principle)
Astrology:
Scorpio (Death) — dark, deep, cold, seductive, frightening
Aries (Emperor) — bright, clear, hot, attractive, reassuring
Predilection:
Anarchy vs. Order
Democracy vs. Hierarchy
Necessity vs. Logic
Death and The Emperor have in common the qualities of polar absolutes: both are crystal clear in the definition of their function, territory and authority; neither can be moderated or softened in the performance of their duties; each balances the other perfectly — one deconstructs and wipes away, the other organizes and establishes. They are both utterly dependable.
The Emperor makes Death lawful, and gives him pride of place in the scheme of things. Death makes everything mutable, so that the law itself is constantly changing, adaptive and alive.
The Emperor is armored, a warrior in the service of the light. His job and responsibility is to make sense of things, to bring order out of chaos, to refute the bogus, to make peace between the usual and the exception. The Emperor permits no secret or special powers to challenge the authority of his law. His motto is: "There's a perfectly good explanation for everything."
Death is also armored, a warrior in the service of the dark. His job is to establish the edge of the known, and to push everything over that edge into mystery. He unfurls the banner of the realm of darkness, in which the rules are so different from those of the kingdom of light that they seem like chaos. He is the master of the unknown and the fear and adventure of the unknown, and his banner is the veil of the unknown.
Death pulls the rug out from under the feet of all comfortable assumptions and established procedures, and sends them tumbling into the abyss. He is the ultimate anarchist against whose activity all laws are meant to protect. He makes the possible The Empress' continuous production of life, and The Emperor's continuous organization of life, by removing it as fast as it is created. Without the bottomless pit of mystery, the known and knowable universe would choke on itself and grind to a halt.
Unintegrated and imperfectly realized, The Emperor is a tyrant and stick-in-the-mud, controlling and manipulative, unable to let things take their course or go their own way. He equates mystery with ignorance, and can be afraid of the dark. What he doesn't know or can't account for he believes does not exist. He resents criminals and upholds the established order.
Death can be vicious and gratuitously cruel. He will make false claims and promises, and spread ruin and upheaval wantonly. He has no fear of consequences, and his reasons for things can be akin to madness. He supports any kind of change for its own sake, cloaking anarchist impulses in a cracked or specious reasonableness.
Together, they make life both orderly and fresh, peaceful without tyranny, prosperous without stagnation, always believable but constantly fascinating. Together, their motto is: "The only things you can depend on are death and taxes."
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There is some relevance to this as I have been described as bouncing between light and dark, or good and evil, if you will. Emporer is the arcana I believed I was (prior to any research), yet Death is an arcana I NEVER thought I would fall into. This reminds me that in the first two games, characters could take on multiple personas of different arcanas. Does this mean that dependant on our sign and our birth year that we have affinity for a few different arcanas?
Justified affinities (so far): Strength, Sun, Emporer, Death
Please get back to me guys, this is a fun and interesting topic. Thanks for the claculator link Pibbman.

Quite an interesting find. It's the first that I've heard about horoscopes influencing arcana. I'm not really well versed in the subject so my understanding of it is rather limited.
However, the calculator does do it by birthdate like you saw.
I believe it goes something like this. Lets say I was born on 2/14/1986.
The calculator takes your date and performs this operation.
2 + 14 + 19 + 86 = 121
Which is basically adding each date up, with the year being split as seen above.
Then you take your number 121, and do 12 + 1 = 13. Your birth arcana would be Death, and then you take 13 and do 1 + 3 = 4 to find your second pair, which would be emperor.
Death/Emperor. Lovely for someone born on Valentines day eh? lol
As for birth signs, I dunno how that works into the grand scheme of things. However, I always considered birth signs and tarot to be different.
Anyways, Tower and Chariot, which I am and it seems to be Zacewing too, is pretty hilarious like I said before. Completely opposite from each other, but they balance each other out. Apparently the two are suppose to be known for overcoming any ordeal one might face.

The problem with this is: I wasn't born on Valentine's day... (Sorry just realized it was a sample date, lol)
My birthday is August 2nd, 1983. That's what confused me about the calculator. It must only relate to the birth year. Even the signs mentioned in the above text have nothing to do with me. I've studied and found where the moon, Venus, and Mars were during my birth day, month, and year, and there's nothing in my star chart related to Aries OR Scorpio. I looked up three of my friends on the calculator, and their results matched well like mine, yet there was still no more solid evidence as to why. I also noticed that the Arcana are statically paired. You will always recieve Death/Emporer, Strength/Star, Hanged Man/Empress, Tower/Chariot, etc... I wonder if any experienced Tarot readers can help us figure out why the arcana are paired as such.
**Note to mods** I'd really like to continue this discussion, yet it's not quite the topic at hand, though it's relevant to it. Should I create a different thread or are we fine here?

It's definitely because of the year, I'm sure within 50 years it'll be different to what is a common pair these days. There have been people on other forums that got single arcana and others, but they are extremely rare. We're talkin' like under a 2% chance.
You'd really have to get in depth with tarot cards, and what the major arcanum mean to probably get the amount of knowledge you're looking for.

Tello, the Hark!

In my judgement, I'd say Hierophant, seeing the social links in P3&P4.
which is fortunate because according to the numerology method, I'm Hierophant and Temperance. And according to the Zodiac, I'm of the Judgement Arcana, which just doesn't work for me; I'm a moral and dualist nihilist.
so I'd probably be Hachiman if I had a choice
if I didn't have the choice, I would be a Kohryu and Seiryuu conjoined at the hip!

Well, if I go by Zodiac, I believe I'm Fortune, because Aquarius and Fortune are interlinked, I know this because of Jun Kurosu from P2. I believe I read Star, Teddie's Arcana, is linked with Aquarius as well, two of the best characters in the series, chyeah.<3 Anyway. If I'm of the Fortune arcana, I'd choose Norn, because they--or...she? It's a pretty clock, and it's made of rape. As for the little calculator thing, I got Temperance/Heirophant. As for Temperance, Vishnu, simply because he's pretty and androgynous~. Heirophant...? ...Uh. >> Unicorn?! Just 'cause...I like to heal people and stuff... >_> SHHH.
Oh, and if I had a choice, I'd probably choose Narcissus, because I'm vain and all that jazz.

Gosh, this is the kind of stuff that makes me love Persona 3 and 4! :D
If I go by the mathematical method, I'm the Sun. If I go by Zodiac sign, I'm the Hermit.
As for the Persona, I agree that everyone can have limiltless Personas. After all, "person" comes from the world "persona", and "persona" means "mask", meaning anyone can wear any kind of "mask". It's just that you're better off wearing a mask that's true to yourself.
I'd really have to research to see who would match best as my Persona. And since fictional characters such as Alice counts, that makes the list of people even longer. I'd probably have someone very selfless, yet still having a fair amount of selfishness in him or her. He or she would also love company, and love trying to make things fun by joking around and being a goof. Anyone know someone similar to that? Then again, that's a little too specific. Maybe just the selfless, selfish, and loving company part then.
For now, I think I'd say Eragon from the Inheritance Cycle novels by Christopher Paolini. It's my favorite novel series, and Eragon really is selfless, yet he still has his own desires.

Apparently I belong to Death.. Not what I expected, but it fits my birth date and zodiac sign..
Never been a fan of Death personae, but Thanatos is pretty cool..
The other arcana associated with my birth date is Emperor.. In which case, I'd have to go with Odin...
On another quiz I got the magician Arcane, which seems to fit my personality..
In that case, I'd prefer Susano-o(P4).. If character personae are allowed, if not, Surt.

I came up with Death / The Emperor, so I'd go with Thanatos and Odin.

Looking at the games, it would seem that they start with a normal persona, and later evolve into their ultimate persona. So I think I'll go along with that idea.
Normal Persona
She would be sitting atop a floating throne, with her long black hair flowing from her shoulders all the way to the floor. A silver crown would adorn her, and she would be clothed in nothing but a red-stained white cloth to cover her nude body. Her face would be interchangeable; from happy, to sad, to anger, to confusion, to nothing. Yet, they are each a mask, a persona in a persona.
She would be called Ashtarte.
Ultimate Persona
Similar to the one above, but she looks grander than ever, holding a mighty staff of silver in one hand and a sword in the other. Her crown would be taller, sharper, and more regal. Her body now clothed in a long white tunic, with a deep blue mantle over it. No longer shall she wear her masks, for it shall be replaced with her true face, her true expression; a proud and strong woman who is both loving and confident of herself.
She would be called Asherah.
Then again, if I were to go with SMT demons, I'd say...Lilith at first, then it eventually becomes Amaterasu.

If calculating site, I'd go with The Sun, Magician and Wheel of Fortune.
But, according to the site of warlock, I got Moon and Judgment (iirc, I got Judgment but I like Moon better).
So maybe I'll go with these
Moon: Miranda (well, she never been in Persona series and I dunno if she appears in another SMT series beside persona)
Judgment: It would be Messiah <3 He's MINE! *kicked*
The Sun: I would go with Vishnu.
Wheel of Fortune: Norn. Just can't help it. :P

According to the calculator... I'm Tower/Chariot. Are the Arcana trying to tell me that I'm big? Like Mara?

I got these:
Calculating site:
The Sun
Wheel of Fortune
The Magician
Warlock: (I took the test 3 times and here's what I got:)
The Moon
The Judgment
The World
I guess I'll go with this then:
The Moon: Miranda
The Sun: Not Vishnu anymore. It gotta be Quetzalcoatl
The Judgment: Michael is the awesomeness
Wheel of Fortune: Norn =))
The Magician: Surt. What else it could be?
The World: Izanagi no Okami! He's mine! *kicked*

By birth I'm Tower/Chariot, by Sign I'm...
The Emperor
Characteristics: Sexy, lover of beauty, artistic, self-indulgant, desireable, satity
lol wut. I wish I sexy. Is there a list of Personae somewhere? To choose from...

My arcana is Star/Justice. According to that, it'd be some sort of badass, robotic angel in the grand SMT tradition.

You can look for the other arcanas with the search engine.. It's not always a full list, but Persona 3 and 4 should be represented at least..
Those with the Sun arcana are lucky.. They could have Tam Lin, which is the downright best Persona ever.
Nice set of skills and high strength/agility and no weaknesses.
And he looks awesome.

Hah, yeah.
I envision starting out with Melchizedek, with Metatron as my ultimate Persona. Weird thing is, I'm not a religious person. But, Melchizedek being an angel of Gnosticism matches well with my personality.
