Special spells transferable?

I like to fuse whatever spells I like into one persona. But it seems to me that certain special spells are not transferable.

List of Special spells

Panta Rhei (Wind)
Thunder Reign (Elec)
Niflheim (Ice)
Ragnarok (Fire)
Black Viper (Almighty)
Morning Star (Almighty)
Samsara (instant death with light)
Die for Me! (Instant death with dark)
Pralaya (Shiva's physcial+instant death)
Hassou Tobi Low damage x 8


These spells appear to be exclusive to certain one persona. If anyone transfer one of these spells with a sucess, just let me know.

These two skills do not seem to be exclusive. Debilitate spells can be learned by Trumpeter (lv 73) and Norn (lv 79), while Heat riser by Trumpeter (lv 74) and Yoshi*sune (lv 77).

It is not easy to transfer these two skills, but I have ever transfered either one of these two skills to Metatron. But in order to build up the Ultimate blocker Metatron, I didn't keep it. I believe they might be also transferable to other personae.

In the previous weeks, I used to believe "Primal Force" may not be transferable. But after a few tries with several fusion recipes, I've found I can transfer "Primal Force" to Helel.

But the skills in the list are truly exculsive to certain one persona. These skills are what I can not transfer with a sucess no matter how many times I've tried.

Thus my theory is that exculsive spells can be UNTRANSFERABLE.

I wonder if my theory is true. You guys may try it out. If anyone make it, please let us know.

Alternatively you may try this one, you will at least have higher chance of getting heat riser

Odin + Yoshi*sune (heat riser 77)+ Trumpeter(heat riser 74,Debilitate 73) = Metatron(heat riser, Debilitate)

Okay, I'll try it later in the game, when I've gain myself an adequate level... I'm still in the creepiest place ever now with level 26... So... still got a long way to go...

Leveling up thing is surely a pain in the ass. In your second playthrough, you may have a null-physical persona. You may do auto-leveling as shown in youtube(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjspKs7F-Wk). You may shut down TV, and do other things until a few hours later. You will have much EXP in return.

Playing P4 is really time-consuming. In my first playthrough, I was kinda poisoned. I played entire two days off. It affected my normal routines. In light of this, in my second playthrough, I played no more than 2 hours a day. The progress moved slowly, but I can enjoy the dialogue, and music.

I've posted a thread on auto-leveling.
As for the game progress, you may have a long way to go. But it's in your second playthrough you may take your time. No hurry. Enjoy every parts you may miss in the first playthrough.

While your level is not high enough, you may remember a few important fusion forecast date(+ice skills, +wind skills, +master spell, repel fire...), and do whatever fusions you can do. These fusions may be helpful to fuse high-level personae with skills you dreamed of.

A few fusion dates, you can do fusions.

With the fusion forecast, you will find fusing even more interesting.

I heavily count on fusion forecast and fuse many great personae.
For example, I fuse a Scathach (Maragidyne, Mabufudyne, Maziodyne, Magarudyne, Spell Master, Ice Amp, Wind Amp, Absorb Fire). It's truly a Master of magic spells.

You were doing a great job on getting that awesome skill "Ali Dance"
"halves the accuracy of a hit unit" means the foes' attacking accuracy against you would be reduced to a half. In other words, with Ali Dance, you can dodge all attacks at a very high chance.

I also transfer Ali Dance to Alice & Ardha. It works wonder.

Rin, you might be right that Debiliate and heat riser are untransferable. I've tried to fuse Trumpeter and Norn for times, but neither of Debiliate & Heat Riser is transfered. I renew the untransferable list

Rin, I might have been working too hard on persona fusions. It's part of fun in persona series game. In fusion, you have to plan every steps. When your plans work perfectly, you would enjoy a sense of fulfillment. Alice, Odin, Helel, Shiva...are all my works. You are right. I might be overdoing fusions.

I think in P4, some fusion constrants are imposed. Certain special skills are exclusive to one persona or two. It's no way that they could be transfered to another persona.

By the way, dark/light install-kill skills seem to be less useful in P3. As long as you you have Helel & Satan, you will kill all with Armageddon(inflict 9999 damages). The Lv 99 Reaper & the final boss are just nothing.

It's a pity that there's not fusion skills in P4. Maybe in p5 there will be some more.

I believe the strat guide has a full list of untransferrable skills, and the top elemental skills are exclusive.

So yeah, you can't make a Loki with Ragnarok/Niflheim/Thunder Reign/Panta Rhei/Half-MP combo in P4. :tongue:

Yeah, in persona 4, there's no way you can do this. But in persona 3 fes, you have a chance to make it. Still it's not easy. It must cost tons of yens and time.

I think it's not necessarily to do this. Since you can switch personas accordingly, you can as well take personas with those top elemental skills.

It's possible. I once managed a Loki with Ragnarok, Niflheim, Thunder Reign, Garudyne, Deathbound, and Apt Pupil - which made him a great elemental and phys sweeper, with whichever accesory in P3 halves MP.

Waa~~you have done a great job on fusing Loki in persona 3. It's so amazing
Your Loki almost hit top four elemental skills plus spell master.

Mine has Morning Star, Black Viper, Spell Master, Thunder Reign, Apt Pupil, absorb wind, Deathbound, and mind charge. It is good at Almight attack, and Elec attacks, with great affinities.
