To watch or to participate.

Me, baseball, basketball, and soccer.

And these days, I'm very much immersed in World Baseball Classic. I'm a sucker for international sports events. :)

Football will always be the greatest. Unless we count the UFC...then it'd be close.

It used to be hockey. Now it's boxing.

Hockey is and always will be the coolest sport on earth, but I don't mind watching the odd baseball game (just not on TV).

Ones where people get beat up. like hockey or boxing. I couldn't care less about the actual game.

Football, hockey, basketball, soccer, volleyball....To be honest, I like just about anything in which people compete athletically.

This isn't a shot against anyone who dislikes sports here, but I have always detested the stereotype of the video game player who hates sports.

Ya...I never really got it. I played football, basketball and ran track in school, and people always seem shocked to hear it. Hell, the biggest football jock on our team---who was obsessed with the sport---played video games. I remember him bitching to me all the time on the field about how he couldn't beat God of War on the hardest difficulty (he got stuck at the very, very end).

^Maybe if he didn't waste so much time with football, he would've been better at God of War. :P

lol. I don't think he ever beat it...but it is hard to tell. He'd joke with me every day that he finally did it, then would come clean during lunch that he was still getting his ass kicked.

I don't really hate sports per se, it's more that I just don't really have an interest in them. It's probably mostly because watching games are hard to enjoy if you don't really have an understanding of their rules, and memorizing the rules/learning stats, etc. are kind of boring outside of watching the game. But, yeah, I can see how you would be annoyed. Actually, a lot of the video game player stereotypes are annoying, now that I think about it.

Out of the options there, I chose Football, Soccer, Basketball and Hockey, mainly because I enjoy playing those the most. If Taw Kwon Do was there I'd probbaly just choose that alone :D

I'm more into participating in sports than watching them though. I dunno, I just...apprciate it less? Although I could probably watch hockey anytime and get into it, despite not following it as much anymore.

I like basketball, baseball, hockey, and soccer. Sometimes I'll watch football, but only when there is nothing else on.

Like I said, my comments weren't directed towards anyone here. Sorry if it seemed that way.

I've just witnessed many anti sports comments on v/g boards over the years.

I can understand this. Just think of poor maddy and all of the crap she gets subjected to. :P She watched some of my hockey marathon last week.

I occasionaly watch the Montreal Canadiens, but very rarely, mostly because most of my friends are obsessed with them.

As for sports I practice, I like cycling, swimming and raquetting.

I don't really watch (or play) sports, despite my ironic initials being identical to the abbreviation for the National Football League...

I did play Baseball once, but it was in a church setting and only because a friend invited me to.

I'm not a fan of watching or playing sports, but admittedly, I do like the occasional tennis here and there.

I'm pretty good at football, too.

I voted other and Sports? Yuck. I don't like sport, but I might love it when I first participate in them myself and actually performs good.

i liked it! hockey and football are fun to watch, especially now that i'm starting to actually understand parts of it. sports i still can't pay attention to are baseball and basketball, besides the obvious, like, GOLF. i do really enjoy the olympics, too, where there are tons of different competitions. FUN, i loved the beach volleyball and softball, even, this summer, among other events.
