In the beginning, I was a lurker. Then during a bout of zero creativity, I was born as Mr_Soren amidst a period of Fire Emblem fanaticism.
Then there was darkness. My online avatar was destroyed in a big bang and I floated in limbo, lurking, but unable to tell people this or that. (and some people really need to be told!) Finally, during another bout of zero creativity, I was born as dungeon_man which was inspired by a musical about a cannibal.
I like words. Sarcasm, intentional irony, goofy wordplay, puns, bad haiku, video game poetry, word associations, and other stuff I don't have a name for which only amuses me. As a result, I tend to confuse or annoy most people upon first meeting them. Some people eventually get used to me, and the rest just think I'm nuts. That's okay. I would be bored with myself if nobody thought I was crazy.
I also like games. Card, board, role playing, pinball, video, etc. I enjoy games for the actual gameplay. I think excessive story just gets in the way, and prefer to be doing instead of watching. As such, I tend to complain about many modern games while clinging to foolish hopes like someday beating Solstice.
Anyway, here I am. Feel free to say hi, ignore me, talk to me, page down when you see me, reply when you hear me, or ask mods to ban me.
