Granted Eternal Poison can be challenging at times (especially if you're trying to capture Majin) but the stories are pretty good and the replay value is very high. It's a shame that barely four months since its release and hardly anyone talk about it anymore. :(

I think it was lost in the P4 shuffle. Don't think I even logged 5 hours in. It looks really good, though.

I finished the game and got the real ending so that's why I don't play it

I need to go back to it. I started it before the holidays, then had to go away on a trip for two weeks, and it was forgotten upon my return.

I was halfway through my third character when P4 came out, and I've been busy with various other games since. I'll get back and finish eventually; although at my current rate of game completion that might not be for years.

How was it? I also only got a few hours into it.

Great! I was getting a little worried there but I am glad there is still some love for the game. Of course I can also understand how P4 took up a lot of people's time as I myself just beat it for the second.
So far with Eternal Poison I completed Ashley's quest (Bad Ending), Olifen's quest (Good Ending), and I am currently on Thage's quest. As soon as I finish her quest (good ending, I hope), I plan on redoing Ashley's in order to get the good ending before I go onto the next ones.

I'll get back to it eventually, though...

It's in my backlog. I'll probably get to it over the summer, once I stop putting off beating Valkyria Chronicles.

I'm interested in that game too and I plan on getting it once I get a PS3.
I'm almost finished with Thage's quest with the good ending. After that one I will redo Ashley's (Getting the good ending this time) which should then give me three quest completed with two more remaining. I'm finally starting to unlock the more effective Majin skills and equipment for battle although I have held off on sacrificing any major boss captures until I have at least more than one in reserve which isn't often given my lousy track record with trying to overkill them.

Use the save trick
save before sacrficing
sacrfice
save on another slot
load the first one and the data will be saved
that way you can buy any majin

Holy Crap! I didn't even think about doing that. Thanks a Million Hamel! :D
I beat Thages quest with the good ending and now redoing Ashleys. Of course it's pretty easy to plow through most of this quest a second time since my characters keep their levels from the previous save.

Unless I was doing something wrong, it didn't work. The minute you save it must already update the information that you sacrificed the majin regardless of which slot you save it on.

It works like this:
File 1: You have your majin. Sacrifice it. Save on file 2. Load file 1.
Now, you still have the majin. Sacrifice him again, but his time for somerhing different. If you sacrificed him for PP, then sacrifice him now for abilities or sell him. Save on file 2 and then load file 1.
Repeat until you have all the information. If you have all the data you can buy him.

Yes I already know about being able to buy the majin once you unlock everything as I am able to do so for several of them. But the problem I am having with your save trick is that once I sacrifice the majin and then saved on file two, the majin is still gone when I load from the first one. It's like the game updates whatever you do to your majins (sacrifice, sell, or extract) on a separate (possibly hidden) file that all the saves seem to draw from. It probably works something like that since Majins I caught on the final battle of one quest appeared at the majin shop on a new quest.
Update:
Okay the file trick does work but only for small majin. Larger majin one sacrificed stay that way regardless.

Spoilers ahead!
1. Defeat Arkanus who is found in the middle path in the second strata
2. Capture (bind) one of the second strata guardians (Dahlia Queen, Armihage, or Gergedus)
3. Defeat Doom Shade (You need to use one of the second Strata Bosses magic attacks to break Doom Shade's demon aura) who is found on the purgatory (right) side.
Hope that helps!

I brought this game on day one but I was too busy with school to play it. Then during the break I had P4 and other games to play. Then school again, in the end I still hadn't played this game but I'll play it someday........

I can understand as Eternal Poison can eat up a lot of your time especially if you are trying to bind majin.
Just unlocked Duphaston Quest, the fifth and final one. It didn't take too long to get through it and now I'm on to the final battle which should be real interesting.

That's good to know. I finished the final battle about a months ago and finally gave this game a much needed rest while I tackle both Devil Summoner 2 and Disgaea 3.

Guess I am not the only one that brought this game and didn't play it yet. If it wasn't for the artbook I would have waited for the price to drop before buying it. The awesome artbook was so worth buying it on day one :)
