Anyone? It was a masterful RPG. Challenging puzzles, nice story, fun boss battles and kickass music.

If you like what you see and you have a Wii, its a available for Virtual Console, give it a download ;)

I have it. Didn't play that much, but it was pretty charming, even if the view angle made it a little difficult at times.

lol, I have it and I used to play it a lot, but I sucked so hard at it! I don't think I ever even got past the first dungeon (maybe once). That kind of makes me pause while considering picking up Steal Princess. I may like the thought of the game, but if I can't play it then what is the point?

Still, SP looks cool!

Landstalker is amazing. I like it arguably more than any Zelda game I can think of.

Whatever you do, stay the #### away from Timestalkers on the Dreamcast. It's a turd compressed into disc form.

But yeah, Landstalker rocks.

Looks like you and I disagree on that one. Timestalkers was FUN!!!

Yeah, Landstalker was pretty cool. It's probably my brother's favorite Genesis game.

Ha! I was just going to say this and I agree with you. With how much of a mini surge in popularity rogue-likes are experiencing in the U.S. of late, I wonder how many people would now actually enjoy Timestalkers / Climax Landers.

I think it would have been wise to stick to the Climax Landers name to have prevented confusion regarding game play style.

I love rogue-likes but I can't stand that game. You guys are making my head hurt.

Dark Savior on the Saturn reminds me a bit of Landstalker as well.

^There is a very good reason for that. ;)

I've always wanted to at least try Timestalkers, since I like Roguelikes and love the work of the company. Plus, I heard that Nigel is in the game, so that's always a plus.

It's extremely odd that a few days ago I was playing Timestalkers and then come here to see this thread.

I never actually played Landstalker, but I didn't mind Timestalkers at all. It's not my favorite dungeon crawler, but it's not bad by any means.

Never tried those games but they do look cool. Kind of reminds me of Solstice or Equinox
but with more RPG elements. As for Steal Princess I've already pre-ordered and can't wait to try it.
