Homework

Ahh, its nearing the end of yet another quarter. As always teachers are bogging down all the students with homework trying to squeeze in a last ounce of knowledge.

Good thing spring break is coming up, though that is another story =P


Anywho my point is, is anyone else being on slaughtered with homework these last few weeks? It's the main reason I havn't been on :very_sad:

It's terrible. I can't wait for next semester; one whole year of art. Not saying it'll be slack, but at least I'll love what I'm doing. :joy:

I loved being an art major.

Sample Homework: Here's box of pencils, a couple of paper clips, plastic cups, some thumb tacks, and rubber bands. Make a sculpture out of it.

My significant other walked in when I was working on it and saw me make one within the hour on one Friday afternoon. It was a "sculpture" made of a bunch of paper clips and plastic cups filled with thumb tacks that's hanging using rubber bands and stuff. If someone tipped any of the plastic cup over, they were in for a real treat :)

Best advice I took regarding art classes: Either make some b.s. up to contextualize the work - or have people talk about your work and have them make their own conclusions.

Oh, and I got an A+ for this.

I miss homework...they were basically free points that helped me study for exams and cushion my grade.

Now I have to do problems to study for my exams for no points at all ;_;
