I heard the games are somewhat on the short side(though definitely beat spending $60+ on a single 6 hour current gen game). I just faced the first boss(Jocrates or something like that). So far I'm really enjoying it. This is my first time playing it too, since I'm fairly new to rpgs as a whole, but my collection includes a number of remakes, and this one is no different.

Anyways, I decided to transfer the songs from the soundtrack onto my mp3 player. Wow, 30 songs, for over 70 minutes of music? Even if the games are short, the soundtrack definitely gave me my money's worth. This soundtrack isn't filled with 30 second tracks either. A few are slightly less than a minute long, but a number of them are over 3 minutes.

Of course, I know that quality is better than quantity, but I listened to 13 of the tracks, and it just so happens that I like the music too. Starting an rpg collection is quite a task on its own, but I think I'll continue to collect soundtracks, and attempt to form a sizable rpg music collection as well. Needless to say, this soundtrack helps.

While the P4 soundtrack is still my personal favourite Atlus soundtrack, this collection is really something. Thanks Atlus, you really spoil us(I think I need a new pun). Anyways, I was wondering what everyone else thought of the soundtrack.

Good for a free bonus, but there's much, MUCH better Ys I & II soundtrack albums released in Japan.
