PS: That thing between Ys and Seven is the Greek symbol Zeta. Its numerical value is 7, but these days, we use it as a coefficient of stability in real-time system control.

Well, for once I can drop my mad engineering knowledge on a gaming forum...

With my limited Japanese knowledge, I guess I'll chip in and say that under the logo, it says:

"Ys is evolving.
From Ys I&II Chronicles to Ys7 --"

And then it says, "Ys I&II Chronicles, summer 2009. Ys7, scheduled for fall 2009."

I am NOT 100% sure about that release date bit, especially the one for Ys7. The letters are too blurry for me. :|

If Ys 1 & 2 Chronicles is game, I'm really not sure if it'd be another remake of 1 & 2, or more of a side story, maybe the events of Dogi during that time period, or events leading up to 1 & 2. Somebody I think said they heard September for sure for 7.

Oh, & also of note, is the artwork for Dawn of Ys, not Mask of the Sun! While Mask of the Sun is considered cannon. I do remember seeing something(I think someone got info off of the japanese Wiki) that Dawn of Ys was originally the official Ys 4, plus, the Ys 4 anime that Falcom was trying to shop around was also Dawn of Ys. Just something interesting to note. I hope someday Falcom does their own version of Ys 4.
