Optional Bosses?

Are there any hard optional bosses in Persona3 the Journey, like in other SMT games? Is it just death? Or is FES the Answer for that? lol

Or do any of the end bosses put up a fight for SMT veterans? In comparison to DDS or nocturne or Etrian Odyssey?

There is, In Persona 3 The Journey... But you can only face the ultimate optional boss by playing the second playthrough, and of course, you must've beaten Death first... Also, it's in Elizabeth's request anyway...

Thanks. I was forgetting about the Tartarus level guardians, they usually put up a good fight, I don't think i'm into second playthroughs to get to the last boss.
