'lo all. I'm Ben and I just noticed this board hiding all the way down here. Heh.

At any rate, yeah... according to father I was gaming by proxy even while within the womb. Mom played cards and things like that a lot while pregnant with me, and that was the start.*Laughs* By age two I was playing N-Television games like Burger Time, by three father was doing dinosaur fights with me using monster entries from the AD&D 1st ed. monster manual, and by four, was playing an elf in a D&D boxed set(Yes, so old school that I was playing when elf was a class, not a race. LOL)

Had both the NES and SNES the years they came out, and on those played tons of RPGs and Strategy games (Final Fantasy, Gemfire, Legacy of the Wizard, Ogre Battle, and Super Mario RPG to name a few). Apparently I'd been walking hand in hand with some of Atlus' games younger then I realized, or games that would become theirs (Such as Wanderers of Ys III, Ogre Battle 64, and the like). The first time I started looking for Atlus games by name was just about two years ago when I was introduced to Nocturne. Between playing that a little and seeing a tad of the original Digital Devil Saga title, I was hooked. I pre-ordered Persona 3 FES, and subsequently bought P4 in December. The same guy who introduced me to Nocturne I did some trading with and that's how I layed hands on The Gate of Eternity, of which I am very happy with. Today I'm going out and buying Eternal Poison from a local gamestore. :-)

I could go on forever about other crap such as humans vs. zombies, dagorhir, or any number of other things I kill time with, but it's only three hours untill the theatre is putting on Friday the 13th and I want to pick up Eternal Poison before then, so with that I bid you all a good day.

Oh, and as a post-note to any Atlus Online people listening out there... I hope whatever big surprise game you have in store for us has some kind of crafting system. I loved crafting items in Gate of Eternity, I loved Crafting Personaes in P3&4... and I espescially loved crafting personaes -into- weapons in FES. I know you guys have the ability to make awesome crafting stuff, so pleeeeeeeease do something awesome with crafts.

Man, I remember the days when AD&D was set up like that. That statement totally brought me back to my childhood more than anything else you said. The comment about getting the NES and SNES at launch were close seconds though, because I got the former at launch as well. Welcome!
