It’s a rhythm game which lets players win stuff and decorate Miku’s room. Beside rhythm games, you can watch her walk around.
The game have an interesting content, story and a wide customization option (Dressing, Decorate rooms etc).
Also, users can create Music Videos, Musics, and 3D animations together with Miku in this game.
Famitsu reports that the game is currently 40% finished. As I said, the game is going to be for the PSP. It would be produced by SEGA.

New info!

http://i40.tinypic.com/nz0zmg.jpg

Yep, they’re finally confirmed by PIAPRO to be in the game. This means that all Crypton Vocaloid (as in Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Megurine Luka, KAITO and MEIKO) are in Hatsune Miku -Project DIVA-. Along with this information, PIAPRO also revealed three new Hatsune Miku costumes. And of course, I’ll explain how the music editing feature in Hatsune Miku -Project DIVA-, as well as a gameplay video with “The Secret Garden”, a song composed by Kousaki Satoru and Hata Aki, which is this game’s theme song. And a relatively new commercial. Read on after the break to view them all.

http://i43.tinypic.com/2wmqi3q.jpg

I don’t know what will they be in the game or wether or not they’ll be a costume for Miku. For some reason, KAITO’s model looked like a girl to me. So anyways, three more costumes for Hatsune Miku was revealed by PIAPRO, and you can see them above. I love all of them! I can’t choose which one’s the best one. And there are six more degigns that were accepted but haven’t been converted into a 3D model yet. You can view all accepted designs in here (http://piapro.jp/static/?view=miku_1st_anniversary_result&c=c). As I have said before, there is a relatively new commercial on Hatsune Miku -Project DIVA-, which showed off the music editing feature. You can also hear “The Secret Garden” in the commercial. You can see that video below.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJ6lVLT8fI8&

So let me explain how the music editing works. From what I’ve heard, it lets you add your own music to be played in Hatsune Miku -Project DIVA-. The editing process is fairly simple. First, you select the buttons on your PSP that you would like to use in your song. Those buttons would then be numbered and you can place them in grids and position it and determine where it will come from. And then, you can just select a stage, a costume, and make Miku dance according to the presets available. And you’re done. You can see how it works below.

http://i630.photobucket.com/albums/uu28/DTKel/6d918b05.jpg
Select the button to be played in your song!

http://i630.photobucket.com/albums/uu28/DTKel/38d91263.jpg
Determine its position and where it'll come from.

http://i630.photobucket.com/albums/uu28/DTKel/a3e629ec.jpg
And choose how Miku will dance to that song.

What case? There's never been any case. I don't think it looks like something DISNEY does. Disney makes you pay 60 dollars a year (month?) to be a member in their games and everything item is members only (example: Club Penguin. My little sister plays it and she is not a member (thank the might overlords for this). But, every item is for members and Disney uses their mind control powers to make you become member).

OK, back to this Hatsune Miku stuffs. I would really like this to come over here to the USA. I would totally get this day one. Although my cracked PSP screen would really make it harder to play (since I can't see).

I'm with you there. Especially on Sonic. I can't even bring myself to play the "storybook" series on the Wii because I know the true of soul of Sonic is not at its core (well, same goes for Unleashed's "werehog" side). As a fan of Sonic from its very first Genesis installment, its almost depressing when I can experience flashes of Sonic when its done right (the REAL side of Sonic Unleashed, Sonic Rush/Adventure) and yet Sonic Team still repeatedly performs those poorly-designed and out-of-place "experiments" with the gameplay. Sonic is about Sonic, speed, and highly kinetic platforming. Amidst all the garbage, it has been done right, its needs to continue to be done right, and Sega/Sonic Team doesn't have to keep crankin' em all out somewhat as badly as Activision does Call of Duty/Modern Warfare.

*sigh*, that (admittedly to big of a) rant aside, I would like to see SoA publish a title like this (gives me nostalgia of the memorable experiences I have playing Space Channel 5). I applaud them for picking up projects from Platinum Games, though I'm not surprised by Madworld's apparent sales. I just hope the risk doesn't give them too sour a taste in the mouth for them to consider bringing a title like this over.

I know. Sonic, as a franchise as a whole, is now seen as a warning to other companies on how NOT to milk a franchise. I'm looking at you, Namco Bandai, for attempting to milk out DBZ, now that you got the American publishing rights.

As for the second part, I understand your concern, to the point that SEGA of America ain't promoting Initial D and Sakura Taisen here... in America! F'n Bernie Stolar... >_>

I have this game, and I LOVE the songs (obviously). I'm not even a fan of Hatusne Mike or Vocaloid in general (well, maybe Len). World is mine, Far Away, and lekka Polka are all songs that stand out, but most songs I want to play over and over again (NOT Disappearance of Hatsune Miku...now that I have Hard Mode for it, never again...>>).

I would love to see this translated by Atlus, not SEGA, simply for the fact of comparing the quality of translation.

Rhythm games are fun. As for people complaining about the music, the same could be said about DDR music in most cases, yet people *adore* that game.

And besides, I like that style of music.

The graphics are pretty dang decent gameplay-wise. DS graphics, when 3D, tend to be closer towards early PSX graphics and tend to be quite blocky.

It'd be interesting to see Atlus localize this, and I might be willing to buy an English version for the sake of understanding the Editor. But I (as well as a lot of other Vocaloid fans) already bought the game in Japanese.

If Atlus did localize this, it'd be easy for them to lose money. xD The game is import-friendly enough for the people who already have it to not need to pay another $40+ to get it in English.

I support increased Vocaloid popularity in America, but this doesn't seem like something Atlus should pursue.

I guess I missed this before... but yeah, if Atlus brings this over, it would be a day one purchase for me, as well. I own the Japanese version, and it's a LOT of fun.

Though the edit mode could use a few tweaks. It's super-powerful, but very user UNfriendly.

I spent more than four hours last night playing Hatsune Miku and I have to say that I am now in love with this game. And you know what? I suck at rhythm games. I must have played the same song twenty times before I was able to get in the rhythm. Fortunately, I have so far managed to unlock two new costumes (modules as they are called) and a bunch of items that you can place in Miku's room. There game tends to slow down when there are a lot of things happening on screen, but it is not all that bad. Overall, the game is fun even though I can barely time the symbols correctly.

PS: This is what I am striving for:
