Hey everyone, figured that I would put down a few things of note about myself. I'm the 28-y-o parent of a 7-y-o daughter and have been a lifelong fan of comics, anime, tokusatsu, and video games. Atlus makes most of the games that I love, though there are games from other companies that I love just as much. I'm also a big fan of music, in general, and books. As for what I do, it's just a bunch of real life stuff that's less interesting than any of my hobbies. I have a habit of liking games for weird reasons because I am one of those "as long as I can find some enjoyment while playing" people. As a result, some of the games I have are rather unexpected. That's about it and I'm sure you'll see me around every so often.

Welcome!
Always great to see more people. You gonna try and mold your daughter into a fan of the same hobbies you have? It'd be cool. :D

The funny thing is either she magically inherited the same tastes or being surrounded by video games and tiny kaiju figures did the job. She asked for her first comic when she was three and is quite good at playing games you wouldn't expect, like King of Fighters 2006.

Really? Does she own you and say "Whose your daddy!" when she beats you? lol.

Hahahaha, actually she's quite graceful about winning and losing. That might be something else from me because I've always been one of those "Awesome job, man!" people.

I have many pre-made figures but no models, only because I would get interrupted constantly. As far as those, I have tiny G Gundam MSs, tiny Godzilla kaiju, some DBZ figures, bunch of Transformers, some comic book figures, and random dragons. Oh, and I have a Lego Millennium Falcon sitting on top of my stereo. That's the closest thing to "model building" that I've ever completed. It ended up taking somewhere between six to nine hours. Fun times.

Hehe, Lego is awesome. I have a ton of lego, but mostly all of it is Medieval-themed. On that topic, there is another Lego video game coming out - Lego Battles. It looks pretty cool to me.

Welcome! ^^ Lego is cool too. I have many of them when I was a child but I don't know where they went now. O.o

The love hath been accepted! Also, this is one of the most welcoming forum crowds that I've been around in some time. It's not every time that I can immediately sign up and start posting the same day. On another note, I used to have a drawer full of one of the random Space Lego series vehicles (it was whatever the green and black versus red and black series was, if I remember right). Well, we moved and I thought it was a smart idea to LEAVE THEM IN THE DRAWER. Suffice it to say, that was one of the dumbest ideas I have ever come up with. Even with it being in a secure place, pieces everywhere since they vibrated apart. I tried to pretend they were still awesome if I couldn't put them back together properly but that faded away fast.

Welcome TTBadguy! Ever heard of the Revoltech line of figures? They're those action figures that have a very wide range of articulation. Perfect for those awesome poses you've always dreamed of. Most of the stuff they make are of classic Japanese mechas such as Evangelion and Macross. No Gundam though. :/
