I have never even heard of this once, in matter of fact I haven't even noticed this subforum here....

I got it Raum. I actually really dug it, too. If you get past the kiddie exterior, there's an addictive little game here.
It gets repetative in long sessions, but in small bite sized chucks it's quite fun.

I got it and I agree with that Olethros said. The problem is that the game will stop very early to introduce new gameplay elements so at that point the game feels very barebone. Since it's a game for kids and the actual combats feel very like Dragon Quest, the plot is not intersting enough to complete the game and the combat system will feel like "did I already played this game?".
Basically, it's a good prototype that's worth playing. A game with a similar concept but more depth could be really good.

SMT: Digital Devil Sequencer is my vote.
Add a SMT backdrop to this, and demon fusion - make it in a virtual space, and darken the whole city hub - and it would sell like hotcakes. HOT FRIGGIN CAKES
*shrug* can you play other people dungeons? I thought you could.

I picked it up when it came out, and although it was a fun game with some interesting ideas, it's definitely one of those that falls on the back burner after anything else comes up. As far as the DS titles by Atlus go, it's one of the lower ranking ones as far as I'm concerned, but that's not necessarily a bad thing as the only one I truly disliked was Ontamarama and the only other ones I found to be mediocre were Draglade, Summon Night, and Deep Labyrinth (Summon Night only because it's touch screen only).
I thought the mimic slime was a good idea, and I'm hoping it stays good in My World as well. If they release a sequel to Master of Monster Lair I'd probably pick it up willingly.

I recently picked it up and started plaing it.
It's okay... but pretty repetitive. Not my favourite.

I play a day at a time - one at lunch at work, and one when I get home to wind down. I am not sure I could sit with this 8 hours straight, but I am on day 24, and am still ok with what it is - but I wish it would be more, and I hope it becomes that.
Also - i like it more than most dungeon making games (except Dungeon Keeper 2).
