View Full Version : Spa Intermissions?

I know there is a such thing as 'Spa Intermissions' but I've played through the game many times and I've never gotten one. I just don't want to roam on the internet and find out, because sometimes it just doesn't work. D:
So, instead, could you guys help me out? Does it have to do with the normal intermissions and FP?

It's a side quest, starts at Heimall(SP?)

At the end of the game, around 26-27, head back to the Heimall Ruins where your looked for Luna. There you start the spa quests.
After some dialog they send you to where the spa is. In each spa there are 3 battles. After clearing one you can go back and get another.
There are 5 I think?

Yeah, it's 5. Chapter 23 is actually when it opens, and it stays till the end of the game.

Its during the spa battles subquest thats why its called a spa intermission.:) If not all 3 intermissions for one character are completed, it will NOT carry over to New Game+. A Full play through of all the spa battles will yield 5 full intermissions. Recommended to do each character consecutively in a row. Thus only requiring 3 complete rounds of spa battles. Gaston, Richter, and Anayo also have spa intermissions. Theres 15 chracters who have these intermissions and only Alice and Therese do not have an intermission. Oh and roland too, i dont think he could intermiss with himself:tongue:

Yay! Thanks, guys. I found it. I'm probably gonna try and kill Vanessa again, but another question;

Is there any other characters you can unlock secretly from other quests? Other then the people you can get from beating the game?

Just one its in Chp 27 guild quest known as "Rainbow Road". You unlock 2 characters but other then that its the only one.

I'm a little disappointed Vanessa wasn't unlockable at all. I mean, she seemed sort of balanced: slow as heck, but powerful!

Still, it was nice to see the LA1 cast make some appearance (some of them, anyways!) in LA2! I just have one question:

What happened to Cecilia's boobs??? :-D Ha ha! I was pretty weirded out...

yeah that would have been really awesome, I loved the cast from LA1 (cept Alph, he's a poopyhead) and I was ecstatic to see Vanessa. When the Japanese previews were floating around I thought she might have been playable. Oh well. The producers said they want to do the game in 3 parts so maybe the 3rd one will bring both casts together? 8D One can hope...

You have very intresting thoughts, that would be very cool to have 1 & 2 combined.
I was wondering if Vanessa was unlockable after you beat all of the Spa levels, but I guess I was wrong. ;D
I can't beat the one in Azul Cave [or something like that], but I'm trying. ^^;

I did 29 chapter's guild missions over and over until my guys levelled up to the level I thought would be good. ~ ♥

The end spa missions were even harder than the end of game O.o. I had to do a lot of grinding to beat it.

True my friend... That would happen to me too. Now I hope they do integrate the counter feature they were supposed to implement in LA2.

Don't forget Ayano! Love that samurai/ninja/witch.

The ability to counter would be nice but most of the time it is the witches dealing the damage from afar. Besides good old reflect magic, how else could one counter/respond to that which Lapis don't already do?
