Races in this game

Anyone know what are the origins of all the races' names?
Aside from those easy-to-figure ones, I only got this far-

Japanese ver.
Khulaz = I found this to be proto-germanic term for "hallow". But makes no sense to me.
Felpurr = A mixed of cat and human, appeared in wizardry.

Bahamoon -> Any link with bahamut?
Diabolos -> Diabolo is kind of a toy. Tended to be called "devil on two sticks".


English ver.
Erdgeists = German for "earth spirit" of something.

Diablos -> Wikipedia claims diablo to be a misspelling version of diabolo.
Felpiers -> Googled it but found nothing.

Diabolos prolly means you play people whose brains are melted and still can't get off battle-net.

I think I've seen variations of Felpurr (such as Felpool) in other games, such as Star Ocean.

Regarding Diabolos I'm pretty certain it's just a wordplay on Diablo, meaning Devil in spanish. And except for Erdgeist which at least has something to do with spirit or perhaps earthbound ghost, the others don't make much sense to me.

Erdgeists is a different language and they are like that thing from the unborn a spirit that needs a earth shell to stay on this side...probally a dead sprite

I'm guessing Celestians are like the characters from Disgaea from Celestia. (The angels) I'm not sure where the term came from or if it's in any relation to Disgaea, but I did read (on wikipedia) Dungeons in Dragons the Celestians are the gods of Stars, Space and Wanderers.
