THE TOURNAMENT DAY STARTS MONDAY, MAY 18. NO MORE PARTICIPANTS ARE ALLOWED TO ENTER.

RULES:
1. No products of hacking allowed.
2. Level 99 is the lvl cap. Come prepared with lvl 99s please.
3. All one time use items are banned. (Example: Mana material, Drive max, HolyWing, etc.)
4. All Lapis that INFLICT status ailments are banned. (Example: Confuse ORB, etc.)
5. Each Character is allowed to equip ONLY ONE Health Regen Lapis (vigor).
6. Each Character is allowed to equip EITHER ONE stone wall or ONE HP increasing Lapis.
7. All Charms are BANNED. (Example: Scintilla Charm, etc.)
8. This move is BANNED: Resurrection.
9. These stages are BANNED
Colosseum of Wisdom: Stump stage
Colosseum of Luck: Field stage
10. The stages are NOT BANNED
Colosseum of Technic: Water stage
Colosseum of Courage: Stone castle fortress stage
Colosseum of Power: Flat floating stone with a hole in the middle stage

These rules were put in place to make matches rely more on strategy rather than luck, and to make matches SIGNIFICANTLY shorter.

As of now there is going to be no prize except for the title, "the best luminous arc 2 player in these forums" lol.

Remember this tournament is most likely going to occur in a few months. Most likely in two or three months. By that time this current tournament should be over. I am giving a few months to allow people to prepare properly, and to allow those to cool off after being burnt out jeje.

heh if the tournaments in a few months i wouldn't mind participating by that time i will have my characters ready, unlike when i faced themute, pride is very good to have in the tourney, so I'm game.

Rampage Ghost thats no excuse. You got three months! It only takes a few days to lvl your characters to lvl 99, so come up with a better reason of why you don't want to enter .

6-7 hours with the use of the "L". this includes the Spas

If anyone wants to level their Fatima or Althea (or anyone else who might have a spell with huge AOE), then I'd recommend the "Training 3" guild quest during chapter 18, in case you're either playing a NG+ or haven't gotten that far yet. Even if your Althea/Fatima only get 10 exp for each enemy killed, you can take out 5 enemies and end the battle in your first turn. Without any exp+ items equiped, you'll get at least 50 exp each battle, and the battles will just last a single turn. With some exp+ items to help you out, you'll almost level up once every battle. On top of that, the quest is located at the "Castle Gates", only one step from the guild itself. So repeating the process won't take long.

This method was especially useful for leveling Althea, since she doesn't have any support spell that can be used on other party members, other than resurrect.

i understand the spa part what is the use of L just for reference, i have only been playing the game naturally so i didn't really look up any use on grinding for lvls. Unless L refers to the Lapis you can use for exp bonuses then yes i already do that, lol.

Um, it entirely depends on how worn out on the game I am after this tourney right now. Put me down as a maybe, haha.

URGH... i got Alice to 99... getting rid of the people who cant level solely on them buff spells. Shes acaully not that bad but only if you have a 20% element damage lapis along with a mage queen heart and the beefed up lvl 99 stats. I perfer the 20% light or water since they both have somewhat resistance to spells during wifi or spa battles.(light kopins have high res) Since she does not have a darkness spell she cannont attack light elementals with increased damage, added the resistance the light kopins have make it pretty useless to attack them anyways.

Btw i used 3 30% exp lapis and trained in chp 18 training 3, When alice is strong egough to one hit kill the peeps (~lvl 75) she can easily complete this mission in 3-4 turns. Strike north, then south, then north again, then flash drive Hans plus one archer. This earns 171 exp per game.

This is a great mission for leveling them no buff spell characters since the computer is really stupid and aligns the enemies in rows everytime. Escailly for Althea.(massicure)

freakcan I dont understand why a lvl 99 cap would be a problem. Clearly if you beat the game multiple times to get 100% and do the spas everytime your characters will easily get to lvl 99. I lvled all my characters to lvl 99 in just two days (after I beat the game the first time) so I know that it isnt that time consuming.

That would be a waste of time. When I get good/better/more lapis, I won't be able to use them on my lower levelled guys. I suppose I could use some not as good characters, but they would just die easier/faster.

Thats why you dont get a seperate file and just keep getting all your good lapis and raising all your good characters, till you have all your good lapis. By that time your characters will be lvl 99. Also don't forget the higher lvl your characters are the rarer the items you get from wifi.

As of now all elemental negation Lapis are officially banned. These are the lapis that negate fire/wind/nature/water/shadow/light damage (for example the scintilla charm negates shadow frost magic). It has already been discussed and this is what has been decided. For most people though, this wont change anything. Any complete negation of a specific element is banned as well (for example a lapis that reduces dark by 50% accompanied by two stone walls will completely negate that specific element). I edited my first post to include this information

"As of now all status ORBS are banned. Each character is also limited to only having EITHER 25% negation of anything (so that means no more than 25% ele neg lapis, BUT you could use 1 stone wall) OR ONE health increasing lapis (like 30% to max HP). In addition each character may not have more than ONE health regenerating lapis (like vigor).
