This is definitely good news, though! There are two series of Atlus games I will always buy and enjoy without fail, it's SMT and Trauma Center. And considering this isn't Trauma Center... it's gotta be SMT! ^^ (As if I didn't just state the obvious)

By the way, I thought the email was great. ^^ I know maybe it was a little too easy to guess for some of us, but it still has a sort of creepy, mysterious feeling to it. ^^

Well, that wasn't my logic, no. But I suppose it doesn't make much sense, does it? ^^; However, my point was more along the lines that I thought the Raidou Jack Frost was around since Soulless Army... meaning I was more suspecting that it's something that would be a little more out of the question to produce again. Now... to find that warehouse!

I'm not concerned since I already have a copy, but I was going to see if I could offer you some help, Pibbman. ^^; I recommend checking local game shops, though... like I have two options in my area: "The Exchange" and "It's About Games". Basically a smaller chain or single shop that doesn't have corporate advertising. Such places tend to be a goldmine of rare games. Good luck! :3

It definitely isn't turn based. The battles are real time, and it's a little bit of running around and shooting things while your demon casts spells. There's a cooperative strategy involved, but I guess you'd call it action RPG.

Well I watched the first boss battle, and I gotta say it's definitely peaked my interest, as I also got to read the controls before the battle began. The capturing and whatnot seems interesting.

That's not a bad thing though, in any case how it has weaknesses, critical hits, and commands to your "partner" in the fight definitely appears to add more strategy than most Action rpgs, which I usually see as mindless hack and slash.

The special effects also look really nice too. I think I'll give it a try.

I don't mean to be a picker of nits, but you mean the original Raidou Kuzunoha. The original Devil Summoner is a fantastic game on the Saturn. I highly recommend it....if you've got a Japanese Saturn. Raidou Kuzunoha vs. the Soulless Army is the 3rd devil summoner.

I hope the e-mail message is confirming the Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King of Abaddon. If they release it in a limited package like they did in Japan with the Chronicle edition of Nocturne, I'll definitely buy it. And I'll play through Nocturne yet again.

I don't see that. But I just tried using google as a search engine instead, and it's finding stuff perfectly fine. Leave it to google to do things the right way.

I can't believe I'm gonna save about 20 dollars for this. :D Hopefully it still has it's original case, and not that white printed out cover. If it doesn't then oh well, it's the game that matters most.

Yeah, like Enzeru said, you have to click the backorder button in the results section after you search. The gamestop search comes in handy when hunting for rare stuff. Make sure you call the store first if you want to ask what condition it's in.

Eh? What games are you buying where you're charged extra for a preorder bonus? I imagine this game will almost certainly be priced at $40 (unless they actually do include Nocturne) regardless of whether it has a preorder bonus or not. Eternal Punishment had an artbook as a preorder bonus (and a CD) and came out for $40. Dokapon Kingdom had no preorder bonus (and no CD) and it also came out for $40. I doubt preorder bonuses really have any effect on the price.

Same thing happened to me with a few games (Pheonix Wright, Phantasy Star Universe, etc), but for me they gave me a spare blank box that they had. Usually Gamestop has pretty cheap prices for rare games since they wouldn't sell (to most) without having the low price tag.

Well it's pretty much true, since the main SMT games and DS revolve around recruiting, evolving, and training your own demons. However it's worth mentioning that the SMT series was doing this way before Pokemon.

Do they really do that? There's a DDS 2 about 50 miles away and Raidou vs the Souless army about 20 miles away, but I can't see them going through all that trouble just for one customer, and I don't want to seem like a fool asking.

Yeah I played about 40 of it after I got home, I couldn't keep playing anymore because I kept falling asleep. No it's not because of the game, but because my sleep schedule has been so messed up these days. I liked what I played so far. Anyways, the nearest copy is around 98 miles from my house now, thankfully I got it when I did.

Funny. I had something to say, but I've conveniently forgotten it. Probably something along the lines of "man, that's not even close to how it sounds," but I realized that that was just proving your point. There was also something in there about borrowed words vs kanji/yamato/derp but.

Anyway, when it comes to romaji that's easily recognisable as an borrowed word (ie, katakanaed words), I typically prefer seeing the actual English word instead of the romaji. Or in CAPSLOCK so people know it's a borrowed word, especially if it surfaces in a sentence. (what am i even talking about, i don't follow romanizing conventions--)

As for this sequal, I have yet to play Devil Summoner since it's a tough game to find unless it's online but I'm waiting for tax season to get that game and DDS which I heard is phenomenal. But in the long run, the more RPGs the better.

Well I get back from a Soviet area prison in Afghanistan with no lights and windows (don't want to draw rocket or mortar fire) to read this! The only thing keeping me going in this ruff rundown terrain was my relationship with Atlus employess. This and the transition with the new director and DNI. Kidding that is Clandestine stuff.

They tried to blackmail Atlus with prostuties. Film> Blackmailing them. However us at the analytical wing found out of this plot and where able to break up the plot with a Pimp. Next the enmies of Atlus tried to freeze all Atlus assests and bankaccounts in foriegn countries.

Smartly we where able to have dialouge with ally countries leaders and help convince them to unfreeze these important assets. The free world is at stake if Atlus fails. This great service Atlus provides is critical to our future. However as Defenders of Atlus we must remain vilgant! OK enough sarcasm. Well I did make love with all Atlus Japan and Atlus US and all on the Atlus forum. I even have it filmed so I can re-watch it for the memories.


I hope it is Devil Summoner 2 with the nocturne disc. I am liking the new Devil Summoner battle system (or tinkering.)

Ah, okay. ^^; Admittedly, I hadn't checked recently... but I still think a Persona game with the Wiimote as an evoker would be rather interesting. Of course, it'd have to be a port of Persona 3, since that is the only game with gun-like evokers (and let's be honest, that's a good thing, because if they used the same thing every time, it'd totally take out the shock value. :P) As soon as Atlus mentions any SMT game on the PS3, though... I'm there. I mean, I'll buy a PS3 THAT DAY.

... Okay, maybe not that very day... but it'd be pretty close after. Kinda like I had to jump on the 360 train the moment Atlus announced their 3 SRPG games last year. (Although I was already on the platform because of Tales of Vesperia. But Zoids Assault got me right on that train.)
