Farming Purple Lapis? Is it Possible?

Is there any way to get more of the purple lapis, outside of going through the game again and beating all the spas each time you want any more? Oh, and are there any other purple lapis outside of the ones gotten from the spa battles?

Yea =/ this game deserve to be more known, i actually find it superior to FFTA2 (IMO).

And btw, i found a Lapis that says Light ignore res, it's purple. But question is... is it really worth to train Dia up to level 45 to use that lapis in competition? Because i don't really get what they meant by "ignore res". Like does it mean the other char will have suposedly have 0 res when im going to attack with light magic?

Correct. Opponent will receive damage as if he/she has 0 RES.

I definitely prefer LA over FFT simply because the job system is too complicated. It's arguable FFT has more strategy, but I like LA more, nice and simple. Plus we have WiFi and they don't. :P In the end, it's all a matter of preference. (about LA vs FFT AND which chars you wanna use for your WiFi matches :) )

Yet which one is worth more? That purple lapis, the mage queen or sumthing ( if i ever get one in my entire life) or the +20% elemental dmg lapis?:confused:

I appologize. Void crystal works slightly different than I thought. It does the base damagex3 +(basedamage x3) x .2 (if you have a jewel as well). If you have more than 200 mag it will be stronger. rather than 3, mage queen heart adds 120 damage, and shadow jewel ignores res. If you do the math, then the shadow jewel is best if the character has more than 120 res. Mage queen heart is worst.

ok, so this is somewhat unrelated but still relevant. how well does "frost orb" actually work? and does its effect stack with the more you add? and my final question would be is there a more powerful version of it (ie purple/blue lapis)?

Ok, what on earth is wrong with the wifi item distribution?! No matter WHO I play, what levels, whatever, a win only nets me the same results as beating that one in game quest that gives you all the money, minus the money, aka those hats. I've beaten 15s, 25s, 45s, and just now a team of 2 99s and 4 70s with a team of 45s (my tourney team). I have yet to see ANY lapis, in fact, outside of the one loss I had today, I haven't seen anything but those hats (it was healing items that time). Seriously, what is wrong with the service? The instruction booklet even says items vary based off level difference...
Any help is appreciated.

Honestly I dont know what to say. I only get lapis when I am trying to get a rev robe. I have multiple of all the jewels like 8 shadow jewels. I even got a paragon spirit jaja. But I need my rev robe. Where else can I get one? Anyone know?

Likly a random reward when completing a battle... i got one before but i dont recall where i got it. And i sold it to a store too when i thought it was insuperior...

@ceruleandraco: I am really wondering about the effects of frost orb. I really don't think it stacks, but it could. I am about 99% confident that it freezes at least 25% + or - 5. Though Id like to think that its rate is more around 40% + or - 10%.

I also believe that other status effects have higher chances of working.

Man, I have plenty of Rev Robes, but I have yet to get a single lapis above yellow (and that was only the one time I lost)...

ill do a 4 on 6. 3 on 6 is way too easy, because then I only got althea to resurect and if you kill her im doomed. At least in 4 on 6 I could have pip or somebody to resurect althea.

Well, I've already beaten teams with 99s (I think the highest was a 2 99, 2 70s, and 2 45s, though), so sure, I'd give it a try under the way Canuck mentioned, but even if I did win, I'm not so sure that guarantees I'll get purple lapis...
