Ok, can anyone explain to me why my Persona that has strength in wind, is taking 169 dmg in wind attacks, when Yukari who also has a persona strong in wind taking only 20 dmg?
Is this broken or what? The same applies when I use persona in other strengths and whatnot, my team-mates barely take any damage and I take it all.

Do you mean that your persona has a resistance to garu but still takes a lot of damage from garu skills? Compare endurance with Yukari's persona. I never noticed any discrepancies like that.

It's not broken, that's just how it works. You should still be taking a lot less damage from those skills, but your allies get an even bigger reduction, likely because they can't change their elements.

Interesting. How do you know it's endurance to compare? I'm still a bit shaky on what stat relates to what attack/skills. I'm assuming that strength has to do with physical attacks.
I've always found it interesting there wasn't a defense stat.
If you see endurance/vitality in an RPG, you can safely assume that's going to be affecting your defense.

I also found it peculiar that there is no defense stat shown, but i think it's because endurance and armour correlated somehow are defense. I have a few quarrels with the Atlus system of slotting. It's not like the armour and accessories can be seen anyway. Then again it might be hard coded... RPG design kits can be frustrating at times, right?
