The list of countries that will be allowed to play Ys Online via Key To Play is the following:
Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom and Vatican City.
As other people in this thread guessed, our license does not cover the USA.
Funny how SMT:Imagine just got picked up and now this. Don't get your hopes up though, I only heard bad things about it. Much like the horrible Ys Strategy for DS, this was not made by Falcom themselves, but by some random Korean developer (may have switched hands a few times too).
To give you an idea of how long this game took to come into its own, an American release was "confirmed" 5 years ago (http://pc.ign.com/articles/446/446304p1.html), in Dec 2003...
Like SMT:Imagine, I shall give this a try (it's free to play, pay for items/features) but don't get too excited. The real deal is coming to the DS courtesy of Atlus (LET'S HOPE THAT THERE'S MORE TO COME)
