Ok, spoilers ahead if you didn't beat the game. For reals.
Anybody else find some serious similarities to the ending in Persona 3 and Final Fantasy IX? The idea that all humanity desires is complete non-existence is a major one. Then, the whole thing about everyone calling out and sacrificing for the hero, just like when the characters you don't choose in FFIX say they won't give up hope, and give strength to your party. When they were all calling out, I just imagined "Zidane! I have faith in you!" And standing in space and... well, a number of things.
Don't get me wrong, I loved it, and it was a magnificent ending. I just need to know if anyone else noticed these things as well.
