Ok, I figured I'd compile a thread filled with the best lines from Persona 4. So post your most memorable lines from the game!

I'll start out.

After MC, Yosuke and Chie fall into the TV.

MC - "Are you guys okay?"
Yosuke - "I think my butt's cracked"
Chie - "Of course it is!"

After the fight with Teddie in the stripjoint. Kanji running up to Teddie whose lying on the ground.

Kanji - "Teddie!" << How he said it was hilarious.

I'll post more as I come across them again in my second playthrough.

I loved the lines from the campout where Kanji and Yosuke are arguing over eating Animal Crackers. The line itself wasn't very funny, but the seriousness with which Kanji discussed FINDING THE PENGUIN, and they way Yosuke even said the word "animal crackers..." had me in stitches.

I did have the quote for Kanji and his animal crackers somewhere, the one from the study group session where he gave up and said he was gonna eat some animal crackers. It's hilarious because it's like his life long mission to find the penguin.

I forgot about that line! I remember lol'd so hard at that one. Kanji and Teddie were really the two comic relief in the game. I liked teddie a bit mostly because he was the one who had the guts to say things to the girls and get them to do stuff. Such as declaring a swimsuit competition, I was literally sitting there "You the man Teddie!"

Most of the really good ones have already been said but I remember this one part after the Protagonist, Yosuke, Chie, and Yukiko finished eavesdropping on Kanji and Naoto's conversation the first time they met with him.

Yosuke: "So Yukiko, would you mind if I had your cell number?"

Chie: "Was that the point of this all along?

Yosuke: "Well, the Y section of my phonebook needs some filling out!"

Chie: "By the way, could you please stop calling me late at night just to tell me dirty jokes? You're really starting to sound like a pervert"

It doesn't sound all that funny on paper, but I found it really amusing given the fact that Chie said something that random out loud right in front of the Protagonist and Yukiko in an almost completely unrelated conversation.

It gets even funnier when you first go into battle with him shortly afterwards, and you see him carrying around a desk. I'd say it was pretty easy to see where he got the idea from.

i was amazed at P3's script in general, and in P4 they just imporved over the perfect p3 ^_^ all diaglogue i felt it was appropiate and with the occacional humor well-blended in the mix it's kinda hard to pick a moment

even teddie was great, though his jokes were sometimes pure pun-ishment ...

I dont know but it looks like the lines in Christmas event in Japanese version is a bit different from English version

There's a line in Naoto's Christmas event:
Naoto gives MC that watch which could tell the location of each other, and then she said:
i think it will show "unable to survey" when Spring comes (cause MC will leave the town), what a pity..."
It's pretty sad to hear that(and, she's so cute).

I didnt find this line in English version, maybe due to translation or just I miss that?

yeah there is.It's after the shortest legs part and it's the biggest bust size and it's when rise peeks on the paper and begins to read it then says something like "Wait, is this for real?Isn't this measured wrong?" then Naoto takes the paper :p

Yeah but u can see her voice sound forced, like, she's TRYING to look more masculine. In the english version, her voice is plenty female, she just can't fool anyone with that voice... Wouldn't fool me, good thing i played jap version. In the japanese version, when she don't force her voice, you can hear her sounding like a girl (Amagi inn's Bath scene as example.). This just can't be helped, Japanese dubbing are are waaay too better than english dub.

My favorite phrase, the best of the best, was probably already said by someone, but i'll type anyway:

There are so many funny moments, but I believe Teddie has some of the best quotes, such as:

"Bear-sona!"
(pushed down and can't get up) "Nooooooooooo!"
"I took the slow train here! The SLOW TRAIIIIN!"
"Don't fight over me, baby~." (cue bishi-sparkles)
"Bear-pile on the enemy!"

and his rather long speeches during the summer, like how he listed going to Yukiko's inn ("FULL WOOTNESS!") and his rather convincing way to talk Kanji into not going with a girl during the Summer Festival ("This is your test to being a man, Kanji!")

*sigh* It would have been perfect if he said "CHAAAAAARGE!" when you selected to do the 'bear-pile' on the down shadows. I mean, "Take This! And This!" and his growls were kinda appropriate, but I was actually hoping/expecting him to yell charge, given his kind of personality.

Oh well, he's still my favorite character, being helpful, punny, lovable, fuzzy, and downright hilarious (with even some very cool moments)
