Hey,

Summon Night: Swordcraft Story 2 on the GBA was my 1st Atlus game and my 1st action RPG to feature these lovely character cut-outs. I was pretty disappointed when I learned that the 3rd game was never going to make it outside of Japan. I read some time ago that Atlus just wanted to focus on the DS and leave the GBA behind, but that reason just doesn't really do it for me. The DS is backwards compatible with all GameBoy games so why didn't Atlus make this one available?

I can't give you an answer to the reason why, but if you liked SN:SCS 2 then you should try Summon night: swordcraft story 1

Alas, it really is that simple. The GBA market withered away. We can't sell the game if retailers aren't buying anymore.

*shrugs* It happens. I was upset It wasn't coming out either. So I ended up importing it >_>

Anyway, If I'm not mistaken, didn't someone say that Yggdra Union was the last game Atlus was going to localize for the GBA?
One last thing; When the DSi comes out in the US, you won't even be able to play GBA games anymore.

That's only if you trade in your old DS, which I don't intend to do. I've been having too much fun with Battle Network.

Heh, I'm keeping a GameCube just to be able to use the GameBoy Player ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Game_Boy_Player ) I have mounted on it, since I can play my GC games on the Wii. But I like having the ability to play games on the go, so I'm definitely keeping my DS Lite (and I have an SP somewhere to play my GB Color games).

I'd like the 3rd game to come out on DS. I need something new to play on my DS.
