True requires some knowledge of how to get it, maybe....
Depends.

Hey, I just want to add one more bad ending so,

it makes it:

3 bad endings
1 normal ending
and the true ending...

A total of 5 different endings. ^^

While there are three bad endings, it's more like there are three ways to get the bad ending. The difference between the three isn't the ending itself, it's how you get a certain bad ending. Once you're on the bad ending path, you get the same bad ending you've already seen.

Reem: I'll send you a short pm on the 3 ways to get a bad ending.

Is it more of a "missing something" problem or a "do something wrong" problem that leads to the bad ending(s)?

To those who know the good ending: can I PM you with my situation and hopefully you can explain it to me as spoiler-free as possible?

It's more of a "Do something wrong" problem. It's making the wrong choices.

And I may be able to help you with the good ending(s). I can only try, though, because my memory's so fuzzy. X_X

I might as well post my position here and someone can PM me with some help:
Dec. 3, Inaba Hospital. I think it's something to do with what I say about Nakatame, though it could be before where I ask Adachi. After the team goes back to Nanako's room, she's already back and I find Teddie's note, and then the timeline skips forward to March. I assume this is the bad ending.

Thanks to all who PM'd me. I'm on my way now.

I must say the trial-and-error required to get past my stuck point greatly diminished the impact of the preceding events, by forcing me to go through them so many times. I must say that I think that's a design flaw.
I'm just glad I had a wireless controller so I could go into the other room while mashing X.

3 Bad endings, 1 normal ending and 1 true ending...
Maybe many of us thought that there's only 2 bad endings because of the first and second endings are in the same event...:)

(Okay, I've edited it, sorry!)

Yeah, totally agree with you, I always tend to feel uneasy whenever a game's about to end... I always feels like I wanted to hear more of their stories and it shouldn't end like that, but if it's endless, it'll be a catastrope too... I always have that kind of mixed feelings...

Yeah.
Persona games are already rather long,
but you grow so close with all of the characters that
it makes you sad when it seems to end.

Again, whoever designed the characters did a splendid job,
and when a game makes you feel sad about it ending it
pretty much indicates great game design.

The funny thing is that the normal ending made me sad.
Then I was happy again when I found out that there is an alternative ending.
But in the end it made me even more sad because its an even bigger
contrast between ultimate happiness and having to leave alone.

But, well, as Yosuke said, "Distance doesn't matter to us!"
And if you think of it, Souji can come to Inaba whenever he had his holiday too... But I really hoped that there's some kind of the next sequel for P4...

Well, its chances are very slim though, I realise...

yeah me too, i think the ending is kinda too sad, since they have passed hard time solved the murder case together and now the leader must leave, I even cried couple of tears when i saw the ending.

I also cried a little when I saw the ending, I started to cry when I saw his friends chasing after his train... But, talking about crying, I cried much more when I saw Persona 3's ending... Man, Minato... Why did he have to die..?

P3's ending made me cry a little. P4 didn't really make me cry.

P2's ending made me cry buckets. :(

I was psyched weeks after witnessing the ending of P3. As for P4's ending, I had a big grin on my face. Wasn't a sad ending for me, but a satisfying and nice one. When Never More started playing, I started reminiscing about the time I had in Inaba with my friends.

Great credits screen design by the way. Most games have boring blacked out credits, but P3 and P4's ones, although simple, get you thinking about the things you did in the game. Especially since they're paired up with songs that get you reminded about what happened.

Totally agrees with you! :agree: The P3 and P4's credits are not boring at all, I sang the whole song while watching the credits... But, yeah, it's not as sad as P3's ending, at least Souji's alive... And I don't play P2, so don't know about that...

Yeah, the story of Persona 3 is much more sad and darker than Persona 4. When I finished P4 I didn't have any doubts regarding the story, and I realy felt that it ended there. However, P3 didn't give me the same reaction. The game kinda finished in a cliffhanger, and I knew that something was coming after the original game. But don't lose hope, Persona 5 is on its way, and maybe Minato-kun will somehow, return...

You should share your mysterious source of information on games that haven't been announced yet.

I hear it's the same people that think SE is buying Atlus just because SE Europe is publishing P4.

Hmm... I think it differs depending on the person... But for the character development, obviously P4's better! It's just that P3's a whole lot darker and mysterious...

But, it's good too! Try it!

Oh, I understand what Saburo meant, from your user name, it felt like you hate Teddie, wonder why, but many found him annoying because of his bear puns or the squeaks he's making while walking... Nice and fuzzy body?? You're starting to sound like Kanji...:)
