My gf is currently playing this game. She is in the Obelisk about to fight Clotho and the other 2, and is running low on healing and magic items.
One: Can she buy either, and where can she get them?
Two: I think I saw that you could trade stones for those items, any enemies that drop them often?
Thanks, sorry if I wasnt very specific. =)

^Your best bet is to have a demon that can heal in the Obelisk. There is one healing spring and nowhere to buy items.

And if I'm not wrong, the healing spring is on the first levels, so it's a big pain in the ass to go all the way down, heal yourself and then go all the way up. You can gain a lot of EXP this way though ;)

Not first level, just first section of two - which wouldn't be a pain for where they sound like they are at.

Oh! Yeah! She's at the fight with the 3 sisters :S I remember now, that's a big pain in the ass, to go all the way down, from there, for the healing spring. But as I said before, you can gain a lot of EXP in the way :)

Another thing is exiting the Obelisk and buying items That's what I did, also while I left I also stoked on Demons that specialized on only healing (non battle daemons with one purpose use)

if u have a chance of geting Sarasvati, go with her. she gets the Mana Refill skill, which refills her SP by walking around.. it's inmensely useful, after that i remember fusing and recalling sarasvati again over and over, and all of my demons [who don;t get victory cry] have mana refill ^_^
she also has zan- and dia-skill,which is what u need right now

When I was at that point, I made the hard decision to link out of the Obelisk, go shopping at the junk shop in the ginza tunnels that carry chakra drops (sp restore), and then make my way back up the Obelisk. This doesn't take as long as it sounds since you already have the maps of the floors you've previously traveled, so its fairly straight forward.
