I guess, both the TV World and Midnight Channel still exists, just maybe there's nobody in the Midnight channel??

In the perfect ending, the "Other World" aka, the world inside the TV turns into a beautiful paradise. I can only assume the Midnight Channel still exists, but no longer with negative results.
