I'm in the same boat as what Kaki said above; no matter what Sei looks like in real life I'm the better for not knowing. It's going to be an adjustment period to begin with, and that would just murky up the already cloudy waters.

Whole thing could have been avoided by being up front from the get go.

Also, My above post about things making more sense now was in no way meant in a derogatory fashion. I always had trouble getting a read on Sei and now I know why: I was looking at things from the wrong perspective.

yeah, i spoke to the vet about it last wintre and she determined it was nothing to worry about.

however,
i had a dream recently where cosette's head was transformed into a bunch of screaming orchids, being aware of their symbiotic or whatever relationship with certain fungi. As babies, you may know, orchids lack the skills for photosynthesis... etc. etc. and they rely on fungus to thrive.

I do agree that in a lot of cases, it's true. My former neighbor used to host a photo club. While my neighbor was decent, there was some pretty bad stuff on display some of the nights I was invited over.

It can kind of be compared to American Idol auditions. Sometimes, people just don't realize how bad they suck, but there are a few out there who are genuinely good at it.

Went out back to shotgun a beer, and was greeted by some of my wildlife buddies! I know one of these raccoons has got to be the brave one that would hang out with me while I was grilling a couple of weeks ago. He would just chill there five feet away and wait for me to feed him. I did. I'm a sucker when it comes to animals, especially raccoons.

I used to get a lot of turkeys coming to my backyard but there have been none the past couple of months. I guess they all went to have babies and chill with Sayck. But I did see 1 today. He was HUGE! I used to shave my head, but people kept thinking I was either a cop or a bouncer. (Seriously, I don't wear a police uniform. What is it about me that makes people assume I'm a cop?) It made going out really, really awful. So in an effort to not be asked to break up fights or chase down criminals, I am growing out my hippie hair again. Sadly, now that I am, I get asked for weed on an hourly basis. There is no winning.

My hair actually dreads itself up after a while, and I can just tie it back. So the whole jew fro thing doesn't last for long.

This is me and my girl of five years from Cebu in Penn's landing last weekend in April of this year. We were there at a lingerie show her work was holding. I was about four doubles of cranberry, red bull, and vodka when the people from dig philly asked for our pic. For some reason the camera adds like 15 pounds and flushes my girl's skin out to pale white. and yes, my hat brim is pierced! I roll like that. Also, my eyes are greyish and thus I am VERY susceptible to bright light and really smashed... so my eyes are damn near closed.

Well, I mean I'm from the South (#2 biggest lovers of fried chicken) and while I can tell some brands of chicken apart (i.e. Golden Chick vs. KFC is easy to tell), I can't tell the difference between chicken that's more similar, like Church's and Popeye's. I'm sure that I wouldn't know which is which without the packaging.

Ah, and here is my recent picture. My friends and I (I went there straight from college, mind you. That explains my clothes) went to Sunway Lagoon (it's a dry-wet-extreme theme park in Malaysia), got ripped off by the most awfully boring rides, but well...we have piccies (and we had fun, I suppose).

Here are my friends and I (Shar, me, Jo), waiting for our ATV ride (which turned out to be bloody pathetic =.= ). We had to wear showercaps because we wore the helmets after that and...well...let's just say they all have a very peculiar smell about 'em.

@ Sora4126: Honestly, every pumpkin takes me different times. Normally the bigger the picture I do the longer it takes but that isn't always true. Like Pyro Jack...that damn lantern of his was a pain since it's so small and very detailed. Yoshi and Kirby took me about 3 hours each. Jack Frost was about 4 hours and Pyro Jack was closer to about 7 hours. Mainly due to having to mix the colours and making a extremely fine tipped brush for the lantern.

@ System_Error: The only reason why you think the ones I did last year were better is because I made one for you. :p If you still have the picture of the Bone Baron on your computer could you please send me it. I don't know if I'll have my computer fixed tomorrow.

My costume kind of sucks. I was supposed to be a D-bag DM from Gamestop. Our friend on the right had a sweet costume that night.

One weird note from that party - we witnessed a dude hit his girlfriend (long story why nothing happened). After we left the party, we found out he smashed a bottle into a guys face. The guy he happened to smash the bottle into turned out to be a trained mma fighter. It wasn't pretty I guess. :P

^Yeah, it got pretty ugly from what I heard later -- not only because of the mma guy, but two other sizeable dudes also jumped in. MMA guy has a scar across his nose from the bottle.

I guess the only reason that charges were not pressed were due to the fact that the idiot that smashed the bottle into the face of the mma dude had an extensive record. He might have even been on probation -- can't remember for sure.

On of my friends spars with the mma guy to supplement his weight training. I've been curious about it myself but first I need to get back on track. I've been slacking gym-wise big time. I used to go at least 5 times a week, then I slipped to 3-4 times a week with running on off days, and now I am down to just 2-3 days a week. :/ Dammit.

I hear you on the slacking part. My new years resolution was to get back into the swing of things.

I went out and got a membership to lifetime fitness, I love how they're open 24 hours (just got back from them in fact, nothing like working out at 2 am!) I've been going there everyday so far. I've made quite a bit of progress over the past few weeks, ran a mile in about 7 min 30 sec.

MMA is another story though. My main problem is that it is EXPENSIVE. That and finding suitable training partners for my weight is very difficult, I need to get to that gym at very specific times and days of the week. :/

What kind of running do you do, Kaki?

^As far as running, I'm not quite sure what kind of answer you are looking for. I guess if I were to categorize it, I was just distance running outdoors. I can't do treadmills. For some reason I get anxiety. I guess on average I would run around 3-4 miles about 3 times a week. I would have some peaks in there as well sometimes running 5-7 miles. This would usually be across pretty level terrain. I couldn't tell you what my average time would be per mile -- well maybe a rough idea. 3-4 miles was about a 45 minute jog, but that usually included a 5 minute walk around my farm and down my very long driveway before I actually started running, and about a 5-10 minute walk about 1/2 of the way through the jog. Sorry, that got really long.

I would like to join a 24 hour gym. Maybe I will once I move to a larger area. I kind of like to be alone when I lift -- so I don't have to compete for equipment. I usually do super sets so I take up two areas at once. This can get tricky when it is busy.

I also need to start eating decent again. I've kind of abused the holiday season. I had pretty good success following the warrior diet last year -- afternoons could be pretty difficult, but I got used to it.

I should just start a general fitness thread.
