Official "Help" Thread

I thought I'd start up a help thread newbs like me could use to ask questions to those in the beta that had gotten farther ahead /knew more about the mechanics of the game.

Specifically, I am having trouble recruiting a demon. ;( This is my first MMO so its a little difficult to change my direction and my game lags a little. I have talked and talked, but they usually attack me or run away. I read that they might turn into an egg and you use that which I can't tell if I picked it up or not... what do I do with that?

Edit: Also, I want to join clan Atlus; when does that option become availible? ^^; Id feel much better forming a group than dying 100x on my own. lol

Apply at the terminelles in home 3 (lady by the big computer tower thing)

To recruit a demon you either chat, or threaten over and over again. Eventually they will join if the icon by their name is blue. If red, your level is too low.

If the demon attacks you, or says that it wont fight anymore, then the negotiation failed and you need to find a new demon.

I add a few notes for new players. Counter is great if your physical fighter or at th start of the game. If your reading this because of th Ghouls in the tutorial, use counter and their pretty much dead.

Gunners can get through many dungeons with ease, but its always better to get a party on your dungeons since some are insanely hard trust me.
