What was your favorite dungeon crawling song?

Mine was "Heaven", cause i kinda related to the song abit.

With a close second being "Game" cause it felt so nostalgic of my older gamming days playing the SNES and NES as a kid.

I like the music for the secret laboratory dungeon. The Game music was great for nostalgic reasons, but I never got to here the music for that long because I kept getting into battles.

'Heaven' for me. It had a nice sound to it, plus it was a departure from the other dungeon themes, so it made the area feel unique and important (not that the other themes were bad, mind you.)

'Corridor' was nice too... really gave the dungeon an ominous air which suited the final destination better than a more action-style song would've, in my opinion.

I also thought 'Game' was fun.

The Striptease songs acts as a palate cleanser of sorts after listening to all the other songs that I listen to in the day, and I think it depicts the dungeon well even without ever seeing the dungeon. Somehow Heaven reminds me of a Yoko Kanno song (a variation on GITS perhaps?) so I associated that song with Yoko Kanno and not Heaven :)

The game dungeon pissed me off. It wasn'T even the annoying puzzles that randomly rotate your map view point (well randmoly like in random lpaces...okay shhh!), it was the fact that I had to listen to that song a LOT since I'm a completionist and I like grabbing everything on a floor. Gives nice EXP, too.
The cherry on the cake was god damned mitsuo ;_;.

Hm, i'd say i'm split on this one, but the one I liked the most is Corridor, the final dungeon's theme which is also the Bad Ending credits theme. Its one tune that triggers emotions as you cross through the dungeon, and makes you think some more about the plot.

Long Way, Castle and Secret Base are great ones as well. Heaven is good, it fits the dungeon, and the plot, nicely.

When it comes to Striptease, honestly I would prefer the intro music in that dungeon, called It's Show Time!, to be the dungeon's music - it would fit more ;)

The Sauna music scores the least liked dungeon theme for me i'm afraid, it was just bad. In this case too the dungeon's intro music, Muscle Blues, would fit more, even if its not so good (for dungeon music).

So my top 3 list would be:
1. Corridor
2. It's Show Time! (if it was the dungeon's music)
3. Long Way

Castle probably.. I'm not much of a trance fan, but I could dig the main theme, but it was mostly the twinkly keys that did it for me.

Then Heaven, simply because it being super unconventional, how many times do you actually hear an actual song while exploring a dungeon? It's this kind of unconventionality that makes me love the Persona series, in P3 you had a rap song as the battle theme, that completely blew my mind.

Then Long Way, the piano and orchestration is just good, it really gives that "epic last dungeon" feeling, which was quite necessary for this dungeon.

Other than that, all of them were great, but none of the rest really qualify as favorites.
