I voted for Persona 4 for all it's nominations, even GOTY. And while I was at it I also voted Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII as PSP game of the year. It's also the only game that could have beaten out P4, but I don't recall seeing it on the GOTY list...

Well, I haven't played P4 yet, but I voted for it anyways, since I have high hopes for it. However, I voted for P3 FES when I was given the choice to do so, since I doubt P4 is quite as good as P3. Then again, I can't judge something I haven't played yet. Until I finish FES though, the only part of P4 I'm going to experience is the P4 soundtrack(I can't believe the Velvet Room theme is the same). It's a great soundtrack, and I definitely prefer the battle music this time around, though I still love mass destruction.

While its true that you need to experinece the game before judging it, there's no need to doubt if P4 is as good as P3. To tell honestly, P4 is as good as P3 and then some...

Pretty much voted for P4 in all its categories, including GOTY. Didn't really play most of the other games that were listed with it, and for GOTY my love for it took over and forced me to vote for it. Not that I'm upset with my decision. :)

Wow, that's a travesty. Particularly since the PS2 version of Rock Band is a neutered piece of crap compared to it's big brothers. It's not even worth getting on the PS2.

I was rather surprised but glad to see Yakuza 2 get a nod for Best Adventure.

Anyway I voted yakuza for that category as well as Persona 4 for best RPG and Best PS2 game. No surprise since I'm well on my way to racking up over 100 hours on my first playthru of P4.

Persona 4 only deserves awards in the present game design atmosphere. I find the entire market saturated with stupidity. However, there are charming portions of Persona 4. And the Persona title has some promise, it has a good future I hope.

The PS2 might not have much life left in its aging circuits, but if this was its swan song, then there's not much better way to go out. Unapologetically Japanese, Persona 4 drew players into its world of magical realism. Western RPGs may be on the popularity upswing, but there's always a place for JRPGs done this well.
