I'll probably start digging through stuff to see what I can find, but for now, here is a link to an area on the Japanese Genmu website that has music samples comparing the two modes (modern and traditional):

There was a preorder bonus of a soundtrack CD for this title in Japan. I don't really expect that it will be offered here, but it would definitely be cool. I'm really digging on the music.

I'm curious as to how you can change from traditional to wire framed dungeons. Do you select which mode at the beginning of the game or on the fly in an options menu?

Wait, was this game suggested by someone a while ago? It looks kinda familiar but then again it doesn't.

It was in the game suggestions sub forum for a while. They finally took our advice!

What I'd like to know is if you need to be in classic mode to have the classic music, or if you can have the classic music with the modern graphics.

I really dig these old fashionned bgm.

Funny to see a few websites pick up on this a couple of weeks after I posted it here. :/

I'm really surprised this is a Japanese game:surprise: I saw it, and I never see games with cool artwork anymore. I thought probably P. Craig Russel did the artwork or something, but now I don't know. I could probably find out more with Google, but I'm always hyper swamped with stuff to do (including trying to hold digitaldevildb.com together -- some manner of chivalry must possess me) and I thought this looked really different, so I'd be all social for a change. Too bad it is DS exclusive (for me) but I'd still like to know more and see pictures... so I think we need more General Info perhaps, or is this the wrong thread?

I wish you could just make a cool game anymore without billing it as some retro homage?? Would be refreshing if the industry would finally get over itself already and make games for games sake:devil:

Can't believe the name wasn't already taken, or is it based on something? More info please:grouphug:

edited: I actually thought it was a card based game. Now I understand it is more like a Wizardry Heimdall hybrid thru and thru. I guess DS has a way of making everything look like cards (the resolution on my computer is way too fine)

I think I click on all the wrong links on the website before. Sounds neat, but maybe kinda shallow. Is 30$ budget for a DS game or normal I wonder. Looks refreshing anyway:oops:
