I don't get it. how the hell do I know when the fog's going to roll in. I can't tell when my limit's up... There's nothing that says when specifically fog is in. just rain and clouds and stuff. help a bro out

It gets foggy after several days of rain.

so like what if it rains for like part of the day. like it's half rain and half cloudy. or is it like a big consecutive bunch of rains only?

Hey man! I'm confused by that also but I suddenly remembered Teddie telling that "after a heavy rain". So it must be a full umbrella sign, and I think after consecutive rains the heavy fog will roll. At least thats what I noticed(highlight to see, slight spoilers) when Yamano and saki-senpai was murdered. It was after the consecutive rains. Pls correct me if I'm wrong. :)

Enzo is correct. It comes after two or more days of rain. So if you see the umbrella sign more than once in a row, you'll know the fog isn't far off. If it only rains in the afternoon(half umbrella), but continues all day the next day, that should count as well. Generally you're given a couple weeks to crawl through the dungeon, and as long as you're sure to hit the dungeon every few days, and not just do social links, you should clear it with time to spare. A certain social link will also make dungeon crawling easier for you...for a price.

Yeah. What I usually do is, I focus on the dungeon by the time I'll see another victim. Then after 3 or 4 days, I should have beaten the boss already. In that manner, I'll have a large amount of time developing my s. links and traits without worrying about the victim. ^^

I do the same thing. Sometimes if I find a good Social Link option during one of the days I used to heal up, I'll go ahead and take it, but usually I clear the dungeons in three or four days, leaving plenty of time to casually work on everything else, and maybe even clear the bonus boss. It's a pretty sharp contrast to my method in P3, where I usually left everything til one week before the full moon, haha.

SEVEN DAYS!
SEVEENNNN DAYYYSSSS!

I don't really mind the fog cause i tend to finish up the dungeon before i do anything else...

Mind you, i make time sometimes between my visits for Ai Ebihara.

I usually try to spend as much time in the dungeon as I possibly can. Usually takes me 2 to 3 visits to finish them. The largest determinant of how much time I'm willing to spend in the dungeon on one day is SP. My Fox S Link is level 6, but I want it cheaper. I'd rather leave than use my earned yen.
