P4 Official Design Works

So I was bored today and decided to cruise amazon.com. Since I've ordered everything Persona 4 related from them, this popped up in the little suggestion box.

I must say, this makes me excited. After close inspection ( love the zoom feature ) it looks like this was a japanese only release. Guess I'll have to start trolling around on some import sites. I was really excited about Atlus USA releasing the book too to go along with the pre-order artbook.

Just keep on trying I was going to buy it as soon as I saw it but held off until the next day and missed it. I got lucky today and was able to order it so my advice is to just keep on checking and hopefully you'll get luck.

Mine came today along with my persona 4 and pre-order artbook yay!

I looked through both the pre-order artbook and official design works both books are really nice the pre-order book has most of the stuff that's in design works artwork and in english the design works artbook has more sketches and stuff if your into artbooks for videogames it's worth getting I think.

Yeah that artbook is the same as the one amazon sold funny amazon has this on information on the book "interview with artist Shigenori Soejima and includes comments from artist"
Yes it does have all that, but it's all in Japanese so it should say so on it's description either way I'm a SMT/persona fan so I'm glad I got it lots of wonderful drawings and sketches also looks like play-asia has the artbook on back order right now.. =\

the "P4 official works" is only on sale in amazon by re-sellers and it's going for about 185 us$... damn!

It's always like this. It's to a point where stocking up on Atlus gear could be a more worthy investment than the stock market right now.

And despite the nice artbook (which is nicer than the P3 one), I kind of regret looking at it. I beat the game with a bad ending, and I now have a huge idea of what the "true" ending is. Sigh*.

Technically, the book *is* an import and is still available on Amazon Japan. Shipping is kind of painful, but I had an order of blu-rays and CD's coming this week so I added it on... only 1700 yen which (at the moment) is around $20. I think it's 2500 or 3000 yen to ship though, given the weight, which does take it up to $45-50. There's a bunch more Persona stuff there as well, but they won't export games or toys.

No problem but I doubt atlus allows scans on their site I also bought the P4 Official Design Works so I got three different artbooks.

Yeah I stumbled upon that one while I was looking for the Design Works so I went and bought it. I believe its going to have a lot of Japanese words I don't know but whatever I am happy that I'm getting it.

I actually downed 100 bucks for both of those books on Ebay, I was about to but off Amazon but the cheapest was 80 bucks so I was lucky because for another 20 bucks I got 2 books. I really love the bonus artbook that came with the pre order so I got these 2 also. Can't wait for them to get here

Go to Play-Asia. They have both books for even less than Ebay. I bought mine off of Ebay and the sellers were great but Play-Asia has them for less including cheaper shipping.

Finally got My Persona CLUB P4 Its very nice has some very nice artwork from fans and it also seems to have a detailed walthrought of the S-Links to max them out to get the secret Personaes. It also shows a description of the secret bosses that you fight on the second playthrough. Overall its a very nice book but if you get the Official Design Works that would be excellent since it includes art of the game, concepts and sketches of each character.

Wow, I just got the P4 Official Design Works today and while there are alot of pieces of artwork from the US pre-order artbook, the included art in this one is more elaborate and complete and there are several pieces that are exclusive. Great artbook and well worth the money.
