What are you looking forward in Persona 4

Same here. The story and the music. I don't quite know why, but it feels like I can connect with the characters in this one better than in P3. And from what I've heard of the music, it sounds great so far.

but i feel i connect kindof to the characters i nthe last game to like the ppeople the main character hung out with were like my freinds in a sortof way i just hope the developers use that aspect in this game aswell

Im looking forward mostly to the plot, which ties into the characters alot. I wonder what crazy adventure we'll have this time. Plus the characters seem a bit more original and unique this time which makes me want to know them more. and i'll definitely enjoy controlling the whole party woot!

I'm very curious about the story itself. Music is also a big bonus and the shaper graphics but the story really is a bit unnerving. I just wonder, what causes these shadows to come again. No more apathy syndrome but the murder case is really something. I'm also waiting for the new social link interactions. Nice. :)

I suppose I'm looking forward to the dark storyline, and the more dynamic social link system. I wish I could hang out with the male SEES members, in social links, in P3, but I'm glad that'll be included in P4. I'm also looking forward to the ability to decide whether I want to date a girl, or just be friends. I'm liking the new graphics too. Unfortunately, I watched the videos again, and everything was dark and mysterious, and then I saw the videos with Teddy in them. I hope he doesn't ruin the whole game for me, honestly.

Yukichin, I can relate. I am a female with your point of view, so to speak. However, although dating the girls is awesome, as a female gamer, I'd like to be able to date the guy players too.

Also, reasons I want this game: No AI, good plot, beefed up Social Link system FTW

yeah thats completely true, girls should be able to date the guys. Although choosing the MC's gender would be nice, its alot of work since it will affect alot of dialogue. Maybe in the PS3 version? Assuming they make P5.

Change Genders? OH OH OH! They mentioned that in either the 1Up interview or the Play interview... if I remember correctly, they said that it would cost too much money that they could put toward other uses...

yeah, i think i would prefer to play as a female character, it breaks the tradition of male protagonists. But again, they would need to create different dialogue for each gender, so its almost double the work :P

Your SP? You mean you actually rely on the other members? Even thought they're pretty useless compared to MC, they're still pretty great if you actually use the tactic command, and they use mudo/hama because the enemy has a weakness to it. Personally, I really like the idea.

Really it's harder for me to think of reasons I'm not looking forward to this game than to come up with reasons for why I am. Honestly though, the top reasons is probably the story and (to a lesser extent) the combat. As I can say for sure that I probably wouldn't play it if the story wasn't good and the combat wasn't fun.
