This was recently put on the Japanese website for Luminous Arc 2:

It's a new Luminous Arc game called Luminous Arc: Dreamcure.

I don't know much, but from the looks of it, it will be a cell phone game (which means we'll probably never see it in the English speaking world), and it'll be starring Theo. Whether or not it's based in the Luminous Arc 1 world or if it's a different version of the same world, well, I can't tell.

Huh...I found this on the website, indeed. There it is. Well, I'm not typically interested in cell phone games which carry no chance of a Western release...but...the reappearance of Mel is enough to pique my interest. =) Any further info is now desirable.

I wish that some games were not made for cell phones; this game could make a great addition to the DS Luminous Arc collection. :p

Not to promote such activities, but there might possibly be an engineered Virtual DS version made for the computer by a fan...

I've seen it before... namely in the Fire Emblem series games that were only released in Japan. This is speculation however...

Cell phones? *sigh* I know... playing a game on a cell phone doesn't seem very fun to me. :(

Yooou probably need to live in Japan and have a Japanese cell phone for that one.

Well, currently imageepoch has their hands full with 7th Dragon (a DS game) and Arc Rise Fantasia (their first Wii title, which looks to be epic by the way), plus World Destruction (and Arc Rise Fantasia) are going to be coming out in the US at some point, if Nintendo Power is to be believed. Besides for that, Luminous Arc 2 has only been out for a few months in Japan.

I do know they've said that there are going to be at least three Luminous Arc games, so who knows, maybe that third one will be on the Wii? Personally I'm hoping for DS, but who knows?

Did the same thing with ragnarok online. I call this a funfortunate situation, because its fun to think a cellphone game exists, but unfortunate that it will not come stateside.

... Why? There's zero evidence of that, aside from the fact that the same people make the games, but there is no logic to that.

Besides the whole Arc Rise Fantasia, thing which i realise isn't much proof, the current information releases contained a great number of familar developers and others working on the game from LA games.

As well as a few select clues towards the game's plot given in Nintendo Power that hinted the possiblity of such a connection.
