Joyous news! Arcana Heart, just today, got dropped from $20 to $13 at amazon.com - I was going to order it yesterday but waited until my bank cleared a deposit to my account. Obviously, when I logged onto amazon today I was very pleasantly surprised to see $7 slashed off the price. Anybody who has been thinking about this game should take note - and act *swiftly* and accordingly.

The price jumped on 12/02/08 to $28 without warning. The sale must be over. There might be another one around Christmastime, though.

And HOLY Althea, is amazon fast at getting stuff to their customers. I ordered the game yesterday (alongside another Atlus title, Izuna 2) and they shipped it within a few hours. O_O Wowzers. It might be at my house as early as Tuesday - or even tomorrow - and that's *with* the free shipping deal! Major, major props to amazon.

Then I'm lucky often, because I recall that I ordered the World of Disgaea 2 artbook from them along with the Mega Man Zero Official Complete Works...and both items arrived the respective day after I ordered them - again with the supposedly slower Super Saver shipping.

That's too bad about your order, though. =/ I hope your experiences with amazon improve in the future. As for mine...I hope they stay consistently solid.

Then feel free to let the hate continue! =D My shipment of Arcana Heart + Izuna 2 arrived today. 'Twas shipped on Saturday. 'Twas ordered on Saturday. That's...about 48 business hours to get from (I assume) California to eastern West Virginia.

Ya know, maybe I could help people out: I'd order from amazon for them, receive their packages, and ship those straight to their houses myself. Huh, at the rate I've experienced lately it might just be faster delivery for most people. ^_^;;

That deal was for Black Friday only. It wasn't gonna last forever. And usually during that weekend they tend to ship items out right away to take care of the large volume of orders that day.

Oh well. One lesson has been learned, though. Do not order black friday items with pre-orders using free shipping; if the item is cheap enough, they tend to wait until the pre-ordered item is released (not that it's bad, just troublesome I can't get L4D for a while...)

My shipments are slow as cow. They are packaged in Cincinatti and go to Dayton. That is about a 30 minutes drive. It takes 4-5 days to get here -_-

That place always ships slow. I ordered a DVD boxset from the gold box a couple weeks ago, and it's still not here. Unless you chose any shipping method other than free, expect to not see the item for a long time...
