Nope. I'm not allergic to yellow. In fact, yellow is my theme this Christmas. :)

I'm more about cool and neutral colors but I think I'll endure. :)

Hm neat. And yeah, Persona 3's blues are really more my thing, but I've never had much against yellow either.

I like the color yellow, but HATE it as a theme color/ main color. BUUUUUT it creates a nice feeling/ atmosphere in relation to the series, so i actually prefer the yellow theme waaay more than the blue theme of P3. Sure blue is nice and calm, but its waaay over used.

Blue was ok. But Persona 3 was set in the modern city, gray would have been better for me. :) Yellow is perfect for a retro style of theme, which makes it a perfect theme for Persona 4, since it revolves around the rural town of Inaba. :)

ah you have a very good point enzo. I usually like modern style or themed games/ anything but im really like the retro style alot more this time around. Gotta hand it to them, they did a good job of making the game and characters appealing and original

True, onlylunch2. I've never been a fan of retro gaming themes until P4 comes along.

I do see the same 3 archetypes in P2:IS, P3, and now in P4 though. The first 3 characters you meet in game. The 'Silent' Protagonist Hero meets up with the potential love interest female (Lisa, Yukari, Chie) who makes constant fun of the dorky male sidekick (Michelle, Junpei, Yosuke).
I mean it works, but it's definitely being reused. ;) Either way, I'm not getting tired of it yet, so they can use it all they want.

you certainly have a point but their personalities are completely different. Yukari is more sarcastic and unfriendly witht hat kind of "im not letting you get close" attitude. Shes also more like the traditional "popular girl" type. Whereas Chie is a tomboy, friendly, fun, and completely different. The team made sure they didnt rehash characters, they made them different.
