I told you in the other thread that today was the shipping date, so no one's going to have the game until tomorrow.

The only people that have the game are reviewers, probably, and they aren't everyone else like you and I.

I got the art book for Eternal Poison (freaking beautiful book by the way!) so I'm not worried about the rest of them.

I just discovered a message from GameStop (OMG! What happened to Eris!?), saying the game would be available Tuesday afternoon...and I got the message at 6:30 PM...

Because while the publisher can state when they're sending the game, they can't say for certain when the store will decide to make it available for sale. The most concrete date the publisher (thus, the advertising) has is when it leaves for the store, not necessarily when it gets there.

I just got my copy in today (at work no less) and have to say I'm quite impressed. The artbook that came with it is amazingly awesome. The CD could use a few more tracks on it, but overall I'm happy with how it turned out.

Again, kudos on the artbook, it'll look great in my collection.

I went to another GameStop and then a GameCrazy, and they didn't have it...

I took my business to GameCrazy and pre-ordered P4 there, so I'm going to cancel my other P4 preorder. I asked the guy if he could "PLEASE call me; I'm desperate for that art book...!" He said, "Sure, man."

Let's hope.

Got mine today. 4 pre-orders were placed for the game at the store and only one artbook was sent. Thankfully as I was first there, I got it. Told them if any of the other pre-order customers wanted one, they should come here and let it be known.

I picked up my copy today as well, but they didn't get any shipments of the artbook. They said it might come with the second or third shipment but I sure hope it does. Now I have to call them tomorrow... and if they never get it I'll have to try other GameStops. > . <;;

I got both my game and artbook. I love the paper they used for the artbook and the boxing for the game is just awesome.

P.S. I find it funny that the first merchant you go to says Irashai and then goes Woops, I mean Welcome. <3 Atlus.

Got mine today, won't have time to play until next week because of school and work. I like the artbook though, and already ripped the CD to my computer because I am a dork with over nine thousand megabytes of mp3s... I gotta say, I got lucky with the GameStop I go to. The one guy (who's there aaaaallllll the time) not only makes sure I get my preorder bonuses, he also lets me pick through the preorder bonus drawer for stuff I may have missed, so I got my MGS4 artbook several months after the fact when my old GS threw them out the day after the game came out... and then he points out when they have games of interest, which is why I finally have the first Digital Devil Saga :D

I got my copy last night and after having them look around, they did find the art book. It was just hidden under the other crap they had in the drawer for promo bonuses. At first she said they couldn't find any and didn't have any in, then she said that it must be in the case with the soundtrack. Finally, I asked for a manager and he found it in seconds.

I'm sure you've figured this out by now, but the shopkeeper's a random collection of voices. He/she has a randomized personality whenever you walk in. :)

...yesterday at the local Gamestop. I pre-ordered last week, and they only received two copies of the art book! I just happened to go there immediately after they opened up the boxes, and it helps that I'm friendly with all the employees there. I've never been screwed over by them yet, so that's why I'm still buying there, despite the fact that there are closer game stores.

They said they only got a few though since I asked out of curiosity. Other stores may get them later though but I'm just happy I have mine now. ^^;;

Glad I didn't have to call over 12 stores. I wonder if they were only sent to Game Stops in main areas for example, Chicago got them instead of some neighborhood nearby Chicago. But... I don't know. Just wondering. They should be shipped everywhere though. =x

I got my phonebook and used the store locator on the Game Stop site and just began calling. Unless you wish not to go too far for your artbook. All three stores in my town didn't have it so I just moved onto the next town and there it was. Just had to do a 14 minute drive.

Unless you didn't order from Game Stop...

@dragonlife29: Ah, he's like right by Chicago. I'm up north a bit, about 40 minutes from Chicago. Still close but not like right next to it. I live in Gurnee to be exact. The whole town of Gurnee does not have the art book, the next town over Waukegan did though. Not sure if I got there last copy or not, he just said they only got a few.

Even if they did still have it, I don't know if I could make it down there this week, sort of busy. I suggest your friend check out his area completely before making a trip up here. I might check the one by my house again to see if they ever got them. ^^;;

They actually were kind enough to put the art book on hold for me in case I didn't make it the day I called. So he could do that as well if he wants to make sure he can get one even if it is farther away.

Got my copy yesterday, and yea the box was a nice touch, and I got the artbook as well, haven't listened to soundtrack yet but i've been busy enjoying the game, and I gotta say the new battling system is nice, touch screen issue fixed and overall betterness....well gotta go back to the game..

btw...there's a typo in the game manual on page 31...where it describes the elements...the description for air element is the same as water

One of the guys who knows me by name called me up today at noon and said he found my art book, and that he'd hold it for me until I could pick it up! Naturally, I rushed down there :D Well, it took a while 'cause no one could give me a ride...and I'm impatient...so I walked all the way down there (it's pretty far by foot), but it was worth it!

In total, it took me three hours...:D

If that's not a desperate Atlus Faithful, I don't know what is XD Thanks to the walk my feet hurt; at least I got my exercise, though! :P

Yay, I'm so happy! :) I did not expect the kind of paper that was used, honestly; it's nice, though! It feels good.

*Ahem* I expect that since Persona 4 is going to be pretty big that Atlus's attention on the preorder goodies will be greater than Eternal Poison and Luminous Arc 2, so hopefully that means more copies and no issues [with the distribution guys].

Got my game and art book! YAY! Nothing wrong with it at all. Box is Pristine and the book has not a crease or a dent on it.

The art book is exactly as big as I thought it would be and I must say....wow!
