Just started this one, interesting game!!

I picked Ashley and her story first, I made it to the first strata boss, but he keeps leaving if I don't fight him right away. But I did'nt hire any extra soldiers either...

EDIT: Oh, you started with Ashley. I started with Thage, so I don't know if he says the same thing (or if he's even in it).

I was thinking more on the no replay on battles so i thought I would need the extra XP for the main charactors, but I'm not so sure now, I think I will have to go back and get a seond healer from day 1. So I can tackle the first boss a lot quicker, and I am also trying to get all the overkills on all of the "Demons" as well.... LOL

So you purposely chose not to recruit members? Unless you want the ones you have now to be tanks, that was a bad idea :P

I'm currently on the second strata. I chose Misery, and finished my third battle. Begrudgingly, I took my victory on one of the battles because I assumed wrong when trying to whittle the Majin's HP down to Overkill them...and only killed them. The battles are way too long to just restart...>_> At least for me they are.

How about yourself? Where are you? What do you do with your Majin?

starting over with new recruits on the same story, I'm just waiting for a bit more info on other sites to see what is ahead for me. The battles don't seem to long, but then again I only got to the first Boss battle, then he "ran away" LOL.

Cheers, as for the Margin, I try and succeeded so far in getting everyone captured (overkilled), and I think I will try that trick of using different saves and doing the Poison points, items and skills for each save. So I will have all of the info on a new game, if it works out that way, may have to do a new game + as well, not sure yet.......

OOPS, Ashley changes classes at level 11, either a Matriarch with much better magic skills but less speed and melee attack powers or a Prodogey that seems to have a more balanced affair in those two aspects of Magic and Melee, I chose the balanced. God knows if this is another mistake, but there is'nt a hell of a lot of info on anything as to the classes so far from what I can tell....

It would appear so. I've yet to successfully do it, anyway.

You can only heal Thage with items -- it seems she's immune to all buffs and spells, even from enemies!

I knew about the items, but still...I like Cura 1, dammit XD

yeah, I would've preferred to cast on her as well, but atleast one of her Dark spells can drain HP from the enemies....

Yeah, I noticed that as well.

Maybe I should have gone with the dark spells instead of fire...but I found that I made the right choice, since Nena's affinity seems to be darkness (Mages in this game rock!). She's my second Overkiller :D Raki seems to be bad at it (for me).

Raki is good for me, if in a combo, he's behind 'em, and they're weak to one form of his attacks! But yeah, I'm also finding Nena to be pretty reliable with the Dark damage. Yuri needs to get better with her Light skills, and I also have Thage focused on fire-spells.

Still no love for Ashley....., that is another reason why I picked her story first, the road less traveled from what I have seen. I figured Thage will be last since she is pretty big in the storyline (and maybe a bit harder and fun to run) from what I've noticed on various boards.

Cheers, what about the 3rd one, Olifen, he has one more in the party at the start it seems, so maybe that one will be more of a challange maybe, then Thage?? Or maybe the other two "secret stories"??

Did anyone think Morpheus's battle theme sounded like it could've fit in very well in a Guilty Gear game? :P
